Trijicon makes good stuff and this riser mount is well made. It will put your RMR (or other brand reflex dot sight) up above the bore about (or maybe exactly) on the level of most other sighting stuff on a flat top AR, which is about 2.6 inches. I use this unit on my AR with an RMR sight - The Trijicon RMR is a great sight - but when you are in the shade (dark room, etc), sighting out into bright light against the sky or bright object (like a white or light colored building) the RMR dot or triangle can be washed out or very faint.This mount brings the RMR up to the level of the front sight and the dot can ride behind the front sight post - allowing you to see it clearly behind the black post. You can also still use the RMR very quickly because it does not have to be centered to be "on target". This mount makes the RMR a primary sight, which is good!This mount is also expensive and you can get other brands for about 1/2 the price. I have done that for other optic mounts and its been hit or miss. The problem is alignment; you have to have all of the attachment surfaces (gun rail and sight) on almost exactly the same parallel planes. If not, you can never sight your optic in. Its sort of hit or miss with the cheaper stuff. If you get this one you can be sure it will work just like they say it will.

Needed this mount for Trijicon RMR to attach to AR15. Mounted perfectly and sights coexists. Would purchase this product again if I needed it.

the mount fitt my trijicon reflex sight perfect, but it was loose when mounted on the rail. I tightend the mount as tight as i could get it and it would just move freely forwards and backwards so i took i shred of paper(i know paper and guns dont sound like a good mix, but give me a break) folded it long ways and that was just enough to give it some grip. I have fired over 300 rounds from my AK and so far so good.

Solid mount but there are only two mounts available for the RMR, both made by Trjicon and both are the screw down secure method. I would much rather see a locking lever action mount but as for the quality of this product, it is nicely machined and serves the purpose nicely so far. I have not removed it from the rail and tested a return to zero. I am curious to see if it will return to zero or close to zero. I love Trijicon scopes, especially the ACOG. It is my favorite. I'd like to see Trijicon start producing more solid mounts that return to zero every time.

I got the amazon warehouse deal on an ACOG/RMR combo. Then I picked up another rifle and wanted to put the fast acquisition RMR on it. This mount fit the bill. It's a perfect bolt on fit, and the tall size helps on an AR pistol.

This kind of money for a quality rail mount and it comes USED??Cerakote is all chipped and scratched!
