Berkley Trilene XL Monofilament Fishing Line

I bought this line a few days ago. It was very smooth to put on my line. I have not fished with it yet, but it looks good so far. I plan to take this line trout fishing. I will hopefully update when I get back from the trip. Update: This line works really great and is the smoothest line I have used so far (I have only tried two). One thing about this line is if it gets snagged, it may snap easily. This makes sense because this is a lighter line. Overall, I would highly recommend this line to anyone looking for an easy, affordable, durable, and clear line.

I’ve been using this line for 10 years from 4lb on yellow perch to 8-10lb for bass to 17lb on Lake Trout. You just can’t beat it. Price, manageability, strength, etc. Might there be better mono out there? Sure, but not good enough for me to spend double the money.

Excellent fishing line. Strong yet smooth and very castable with good knot strength. Have always had good luck with Trilene.

Very low memory and works great with my spinning rod. I've always had great experience with Berkley Trilene.. Great Product.

Triline XL is the best casting line on a spinning reel

Spooled this on my son's spincast for his Cub Scouts bass derby and watched him pull in largemouth one after another with zero line failures. Knot strength held through every fish, including a couple that ran him into weeds and rocks. Memory is what you'd expect from any 8lb mono, light coil if you leave it sit a week, but a quick stretch through your fingers before the first cast and it lays flat. Casting is smooth without the wind knots cheap mono throws on a kid's setup. Compared to P-Line and Stren in the same weight I've used before, Trilene XL has the best balance of stretch and abrasion resistance for the price. 330yd will cover at least a couple seasons. Will keep buying.

Llegó antes de la fecha, excelente linea, se comportó muy bien con este pámpano de aprox 50cm de largo le calculo de 2.5 a 3 kg, lo pesqué de orilla en la playa de mi pueblo, lo regresé al mar hizo bien su trabajo, tengo experiencia con la trilene la recomiendo mucho

Esperaba algo de mejor calidad, al hacer nudos se enchina con facilidad aunque se lubrique la linea, es resistente pero no es lo mejor para una caña de spinning (mucha memoria)
