Useful but leaks occur
Flexible and ice is a brilliant for reducing pain in muscles from overuse injuries, back pain, strains etc.If you can’t tolerate anti inflammatory medications this is a life saver. Always use cold in preference to heat especially initially for injuries.Got 3 in a deal I think so price reasonable.Unfortunately they all leak sooner or later and some almost immediately so manufacture is possibly not quality checked. The gel isn’t toxic I shouldn’t think but not something to be left on skin if contact made.

Great first use BUT.....
These products where good for pain relief , I gave my sister one and a day later she called said it had burst ! I thought oh well maybe a wee adult with that one . Last night I had one at my 86 year old grandmothers back wrapped in a towel , it burst at the seems spilling liquid all over gran and all over bed ( thank goodness it had cooled at this point as it could have gave my poor wee gran a bad burn . So a little annoyed , then I checked two I had in my room ( unused to date ) kept in a drawer ( both where platter and harder and on inspection they also had leaked and are now in the bin . I bought 6 . Won’t be purchasing again ( can’t even be bothered contacting seller and all the return process . Main thing to me my gran wasn’t injured!!! I think they need checked by quality control ( hey could be rejects , someone selling off 😐

Good Value for Money
I'm in the middle of marathon training and have unfortunately hurt my achilles tendon.I was looking for an affordable ice pack solution that will help me ice my heel. I looked at some options with straps, but decided to go with this pack as it contained 3 gel packs.I've been using it on my achilles and using a towel or something else to hold it in place. A strap would be helpful for this, but in the future I will probably be using it on my glutes, hamstrings, and quads etc, so a lack of a stap wasn't a major sisue for me as I would be frequently using it without one. Suppose I couldOne thing that is always a concern is that the ice pack goes too hard and inflexible. I've not seen this yet myself, however I've made a point of only putting the pack in for a few hours. When I take one out the freezer you can still bend it around. It's still flexible. These can be heated too. I'm supposed to use them to warm up my achilles before running and then cool it afterwards, but I'm not at the point where I can exercise so I haven't tested this yet.If you do need an ice pack with strap, these obviously aren't the ice packs for you.If you are looking for the best ice pack on the market, this isn't it. I'm pleased with my purchase, but there are larger ice packs with straps that are more expensive that fit the bill better. If however, you are just looking for some basic gels, these are really good. For less than the price of one ice pack with a strap I've now got three packs and they can be used on just about any injury.Easy to recommend if you don't need a strap for your ice pack :)

easy to use
I have frozen shoulder and bicep pain these are great, I keep 2 in the freezer and i use the other one for heat... just 50 seconds in the microwave is enough for it to get hot, I then knead it gently and put it back in for 5 second bursts again removing and kneading so the gel doesn't get too hot in one place and compromise the pack... heat seems to last around 30 minutes but a quick 10 second boost in the microwave reheats it fast....... as for the frozen it's stiff for about 5 mins out of a freezer if it's been in over 24 hours then it is soon mouldable again icy cold lasts around 30 mins.. would I recommend, yes

Perfect for muscle pain
I ordered this when I woke up with muscle pain in my neck and shoulder. I was advised to cool the area to reduce swelling and then after 24 hours apply heat. This product was perfect for that since I could freeze a couple of the packs and keep one for heat when needed. The packs were cold enough to use after 1 hour in my freezer - just remember to use a towel between your skin and the ice pack.Heating these can be done in the microwave - just follow the instructions - it gets a little tedious taking it out of the microwave every 5 seconds but it soon warms up and soothes the pain.
