Paraffin Wax Works 10-Minute Paraffin Hand Treatment, Relaxing Lavender, Spa and Home Treatment Gloves, One-Pair

I like the bag this came in and being able to use it again. I don’t like not being able to able to use my hands while I am using it, but that is more about me that the product. I kind of wish it had a way to use my phone as it worked. It did make my hands very soft and was easy to heat in the microwave.

First, the wax does not melt evenly in the microwave. The heat indicator was bright red and some of the wax had liquified, but the wax in the fingers if the glove was still solid. I massaged the fingers to try to distribute the heat evenly, but by the time the heat indicator started to turn black, all the wax was nearly solid again. One of the glove was sealed much further down than the other, and I had to cut a full inch off the top to open it. The remaining heat was pleasant, but underwhelming, and only lasted 3-4 minutes before the wax solidified around my fingers. After removing the glove my skin felt so greasy that even after massaging the oils into my skin for five minutes, I had to wash the rest off my skin before I could touch anything. Overall, it was disappointing.

I really loved using these for the first treatment. They fell apart during the second treatment. So if you think you are going to get 4 treatments, you might only manage to get 2.

I gave this to a friend and she really loves it. She was excited that you can use it 4 times. I'm ordering a set for myself now.

These took about 4 minutes to heat up enough to be soft enough to use. The instructions were easy enough to follow. It was hard to see the heat heart indicator turning colors though. The lavender smell was really pleasant and soothing. The scent was mild and not overpowering. It was hot to put hands into at first but didn't stay hot for that long. It felt nice and relaxing to use. Easy to remove and made my hands feel nice and moisturized. It kind of felt like I had soap on my hands after so I washed my hands to get the soapy feel off. These left my hands feeling nice and soft after. Not sure I would purchase again but I'm glad I tried them.

so far, it is one of the most pleasant hand treatments I have ever experienced at home. worth the money. highly recommended

The packaging and the heart shaped heat indicator on the gloves is cute, the smell is good, but nothing else was good. When I unpacked the gloves they were so dried up and all the wax was packed into the finger tips. I had to do the reccomended microwave 4xs before it finally melted enough to push and push that wax throughout the gloves to evenly distribute (a lot more work than it's worth) then when I put them on the wax was already drying back up (the gloves are hard plastic not like a soft molding glove) and it was hard to put my hands in they are so stiff. I tried to join my hands and link my fingers to pull the gloves down to fit the fingers better and it completely ripped the plastic to the point that the wax started to fall out.. so now they can't be reused. By the end of the day my hands were back to being extremely dry again so they didn't even work. Not even effective for the cost. Disappointed. Hope this is helpful to someone ik the dry hand struggle is never ending.
