I have had the Promate media bridge for a year and it has been working very well to connect an ipad to a Yamaha keyboard for midi input. It has recently suffered from physical damage of its lightning socket which is no fault of the manufacturer and I am ordering the same one again given its reliable performance.

Construction is very well. Works perfectly with garageband app with midi keyboard and 3.5mm headphones for monitoring. 5 stars

Good product as described, delivered on time. However i feel the price is high for a small piece of connector, partly is to blame apple due to their royalty on lightening port items and partly promate themselves for making a fancy packaging with magnetic cover and thick cardboard then additional transparent packing inside. I suggest promate should make a simple package with price reduced if possible, after all a buyer is charged for all that is sold with the product including packaging.

It does an excellent job for its value. Better than Apple camera adapter which doesn't even give you the the option to charge your phone while using it but this does plus a headphone jack.

I bought this especially cuz it had a headphone jack and the usb 3 conversion but sadly the sound on the headphone jack is not good, volume and quality is significantly low.

To be fair, I had the product only for a day and had to send it back to the shop. If you want to view what’s on your USB thumb drive then it’s perfect especially now in iOS 13 and iPadOS that allows transferring stuff from usb and hard drives. However, when I connected my hard drive to it, it didn’t work which is why I shad to send it back. My external 2TB hard drive doesn’t need a stand alone powering up device to power it up, so I really don’t know why it didn’t work. I tried 3 other hard drives but same result.

I wanted to connect usb external mic with my iphone which it did perfectly. For 55 aed its 3 times cheaper than original apple dongle still keeping the good quality

I loved the ability to charge and having the option to choose different devices to listen to music/podcasts, especially on commutes and while travelling. I used it on one occasion where I listened to music and charged my phone at the same time and it worked perfectly fine. When I went to use it a second time the sound started playing, then it skiped a beat and repeated the last second of music, to then skip to the next song out of the blue. On the next track it plays the first few seconds and then skips a beat again, to ultimately continue doing this with no chance of listening to anything! It didn't matter what app I used or if the phone was charging at the time or not. (My phone works perfectly fine with Bluetooth headphones and charged the usual way) Don't buy this product!

Lo utilizzo in tre diversi setup : 1) come adattatore per collegare una scheda audio al mil iPhone 11 Pro ( Mediabridge -> iRig Pro -> Cuffie -> Alimentazione -> cavo chitarra-> IK Multimedia Amplitube per iPhone 2) Come adattatore per collegare le cuffie 3) come adattatore per collegare un paio di casse amplificate. Il dispositivo consente di caricare l'iPhone mentre si collega un dispositivo aggiuntivo e/o le cuffie. Il circuito interno migliora anche il flusso audio specialmente se abbinato ad una scheda audio.

lightning port for charging iphone is broken, 3.5mm and usb a port works perfectly though. I got this in good price. didn't bother to return since i need its USB A port.

Ja, er kann gleichzeitig Musik ausgeben und einen USB Stick lesen. Mit Evermusic kann man so auch auf iphones/ipads mit kleinem Speicher eine grosse Musikbibliothek dabeihaben. Perfekt um ein ipad im Auto mit Splitscreen als Navi und als Mediaplayer zu verwenden (a'la Tesla etc). Nein, weil er bei gleichzeitigem Einstecken des Ladesteckers auf dem Audioausgang Störgeräusche produziert. Diese sind stark genug um wirklich lästig zusein. Aber eine bessere Lösung habe ich bisher nicht gefunden.

منتج جيد لكنه لا يدعم جميع الإضافات جربت عليه يدة تحكم + مايكروفون + كيبورد مالقيت إستجابة إلا على الكيبورد يكتب ومافيه أي مشكلة لكن اليدة والمايك ولا كأني شابك شيء، بالنسبة لمنفذ الشحن والسماعة شغالين زي الحلاوة المشكلة كانت بمنفذ اليو إس بي لا يدعم جميع الإضافات فقط *تحديث: لابد من شبك كيبل الشحن أثناء شبك باقي المرفقات لتفعيل منفذ اليو إس بي لأنه يحتاج جهد كهرباء لذلك إذا بتشبك سماعة أو مايك يو اس بي لازم تشبك معه الشاحن
