I was looking for a durable, brown, leather portfolio folder so that I could zip it and make sure all of my work documents stayed safe and together. This has a strong, well stitched zipper that has worked without any problems. I chose a beautiful brown colored leather design that was large enough to hold legal sized documents, so the size of this was perfect. Very happy with the quality and price. A very good value for what I received.

I needed something to take to meetings and interviews but didn't want to spend a ton of money on something in case I lost it; however, I wanted the portfolio to look very business like, expensive, and functional for all my needs. After I received it I was definitely blown away that all of my worries and needs were satisfied with this item. The zippers and stitching is well made, its not so bulky if you don't want it to be, and it has room to stuff about anything you want in it if needed. If you have someone who is just starting to go to interviews or starting in the executive world, as a business owner I can tell you that this is very impresses and functional for a variety of uses. The video and images do not do it justice compared to what you receive. I looked at a lot of these trying to figure out which one/brand to purchase, and I am so happy I chose this one. I can tell by the quality it will serve me well for the future for a long period of time. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting time looking...if this one will serve what you need, I would definitely purchase this one because you will be happilly surprised. It would be an amazing graduation present for anyone.

This appears to be a quality leather portfolio. It looks nice and seems well made. My only complaint is that it has an odd chemical smell. I would prefer it to smell like leather, which it does not. It's not an overwhelming chemical smell, but it's enough where I took a star off the rating.

Great portfolio! It has the smell of leather. I bought the A4 version as it is bigger than 8x11 American size. Only other comment: the leather is not supple. I wiped the portfolio down with saddle soap to make it softer. Rag turned brown. That is a small issue. Thank you for producing a quality product!

Beautiful, high quality

I ordered this item expecting genuine leather, as implied in the product listing. What I received was overwhelmingly made of cheap vinyl or faux leather, with only a very small portion — if any — being actual leather. I would estimate that at least 80% of the material is synthetic, which not only feels low quality but also gives off a strong plastic-like odor. The craftsmanship was equally underwhelming. The stitching was uneven, the edges were poorly finished, and the entire product had a flimsy, mass-produced feel. For a product marketed as leather, this was a complete misrepresentation. I didn’t even consider using it — I returned it immediately. If you’re looking for something durable or genuinely made from leather, I strongly suggest avoiding this product altogether. It’s overpriced for what is essentially a vinyl imitation, and you’re much better off spending your money elsewhere. Very disappointed.

I am very particular about everything I buy. I use my padfolio when I inspect commercial buildings, and I wanted to be able to have two sets of documents kept separately during these inspections. So, I use letter size binder covers as placeholders. One in the top pocket and one in the side pocket. I bind my documents to these placeholders with those plastic binders to the binder cover placeholders. Therefore, I am able to have one set of documents bound on the side and held in the side pocket and one set of documents bound on the side held in the top pocket. There don't appear to be very many padfolios with both options. It works perfectly. I was a little hesitant on the price, but you definitely get what you pay for. It is high-end and feels pretty well made. Ten out of ten for me. I would definitely buy it again, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
