I tested it at 4 different stores to see if would block my transaction. It did not no light came on. There is noTo test according to instruction, it should block the use of your card if held near where you swipe your card. I tested it at 4 different stores and it did not block the use of the card. So, if someone were trying to get information from my cards this armourcard would not stop the theft. There is no way to know how old this unit is before you receive it. You can not replace any battery. You have to dampen the gold circle to inactive ( you would have to carry something to make it damp or lick your finger to dampen). They offered a replacement but after looking at the reviews there were a lot of returns and the people who tried replacements, the device still did not work. They refunded my money. I really hoped this would work. ### ⭐⭐ 2 cards DOA *by A***R on May 21, 2024* i would like to have a working card so i have active protection something must be killing it on the way ### ⭐ Non functioning *by V***I on March 17, 2025* The battery apparently was expired and they are not replaceable.
