A basic kit with everything for small projects
Product wise it has everything you can want/need and for small tasks then this can't go wrong. This is a beginner product and needs to be treated as such. For what I paid I am happy with my purchase but it's not amazing. I bought this to solder led strips using jumper wire for a light up photo frame. What I found was the button cover fell off the iron and won't go back on. It's cosmetic so not bothered about it. Solder sucker does the job but on the second use drops the old solder. Iron gets up to temp but found it took some time and lost its heat quickly. In contrast I have used a professional solder station. Iron got hot a lot quicker and stayed hot through the work that I did. If I was using this for a resolder job I'm not sure if I would trust it. I would want more confidence of when the iron was up to temp with a even temp on the tip. This is probably where I am let down by my skills as I'm sure someone who is an expert would be able to overcome the limitations of the iron. Over all nice presentation, cheap beginning set that can do little projects.

Brilliant value
Affordable, comes with almost everything you need to get started with soldering (everything but solder wick), and works like a charm.

component failure
I couldn't use the tool because it didn't make good contact at the joint, so the soldering iron didn't heat up enough. The seller responded to my complaint immediately and offered two solutions. When I asked for a refund, he started the refund the same day. Very fair and honest seller. I wholeheartedly recommend it even if the product I received was defective.

Fantastic value for money, great but of kit
All of the extras are not the highest quality or course, but everything is more than usable enough and great value. The actual soldering iron seems great, I've used it to repair a couple things already including some thick high voltage wiring, worked perfectly

Rubbish
Had this a while now, display has never shown a readable temp just a collection of lines, doesn't heat up reliably or quickly, have successfully soldered using it exactly once after a lot of attempts.

Absolute bargain!
I wanted a low temperature soldering iron to do heat inserts in 3d prints. Thought I'd give this a go as it has adjustable temperature control.I have now used it not only for 3d print inserts but for a soldering job on a car.Blown away by this tbh, great quality, temp control works perfectly, loads of tips, solder, accessories. For the price this was a bargain and it's now my main soldering iron.

heats up fast, the on/off switch is a nice touch
I finally got to use this today for the first time and it's not bad at all. Nothing precision, just soldering ring terminals onto some wire and doing wire-to-wire splices (lengthening a trickle charger cable) and it did the job.The stand is the same flimsy thing you get with every iron at this price, but I've got an old Weller stand I found at a garage sale so I don't have to use the included one.I don't know the melt point of the 1980s solder I'm using; just turned the iron dial to the middle and it worked. I probably should know that. The power switch and power light on the iron itself is a nice touch. I like being able to turn it off and see that it's on/off right on the bench vs. having to pull the plug each time.Only downside is the cord is about 1' shorter than my old iron, but it seems that most everything now is coming with slightly shorter cords.
