These rotary cutters are wonderful with a smooth glide. Little pressure is needed to make a sharp cut and it feels like a major step up from using scissors to cut my fabric. My only complaint is how the materials this bundle were packaged; the mat was placed on top of the other items and it caused there to be a bend from being like that for an extended time (it being in the 20s here probably doesn’t help either). It flattened out after placing it in front of the vent for a half hour. It’s not a cause for concern at all, but I couldn’t use it IMMEDIATELY and had to be extra patient, so really it’s a mild annoyance.

I am an old quilter, been quilting for almost 40 years. But I am new to the rotary cutters. I finally decided to try one while making my first denim quilt out of recycled blue jeans. The first cutter I tried had a safety guard that limited my line of vision. After much research, I decided to try this set. I am surprised and delighted at the ease of use and the cutting ability of the cutters. I may never go back to using scissors! They fit comfortably in my hand and I can cut for a long time before getting too tired. The blades are really sharp now, but I'm glad that it came with replacement blades, since I am cutting up a lot of denim.

The big rotary tool fell apart after a few uses. The mat on the other hand is Amazing

Used to trim a long straight edge for home made dining table pad. Used against a metal straight edge. Scissors would have left a crooked edge.

This was a gift for my wife. She intends to use it for her quilting projects. She loves it. The size is perfect for her sewing / quilting space, and included a 6"x12" ruler she was looking for. I found it to be of very nice quality at a great price considering two cutters (28/45mm) and a generous supply of replacement blades. I view these items as a wear/replacement purchase, so I was looking for a balance of price/quality. As a DIYer, I will find it useful many times myself for various projects. It was packed well, I had no mat warping issues from shipping. I shopped many pages deep here for rotary cutter sets and found the quality and value I was looking for when buying a set.

Bought primarily for cutting squares for quilting. Made it much easier than scissors. Able to configure the cutters for right or left hand use. Would recommend.

Ensemble pour couper le tissus pour courte-pointe ou autre. Coupe très bien. Le tapis est de moindre qualité mais pour le prix il remplit très bien ses fonctions. Je suis satisfaite de mon achat. Il y a surement meilleur qualité pour plus cher, mais je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Habe mir das Set zum Wiedereinstieg beim Nähen gekauft und finde es unschlagbar gut. Für Anfänger und auch Fortgeschrittene ausreichend zum ausschneiden von Stoffstücken geeignet. Aus meinem Nähzimmer nicht mehr weg zu denken
