Don’t hang anything breakable/valuable on it.
I followed every bit of instruction and purchased based on weight holding capabilities and specs. I put my brand new $80 mirror on it and 3 days later, the mirror fell and shatter because the strip came half way loose on the wall - even though I cleaned the wall and applied it to the wall exactly as directed. I’m so disappointed. I loved that mirror.

Works, but is visible above some frames
I worried they wouldn’t hold stuff because I never used anything like this before, but they stay on the wall great and don’t fall. However, depending where the hanging apparatus is on the back of my pictures some of them the metal of this hanger sticks out above the frame and it looks unappealing and unprofessional. I don’t think I’d buy these again for that reason, and will try to find something else instead or just use a nail in the wall or something that won’t show as much.

It had one job.
...and it failed. Woke up in the middle of the night to this. The frame is completely trashed, and I didn’t even bother to turn the painting over to see what damage that had sustained. I’m just a little too nervous to see it right now. I guess I’m lucky that one of my animals didn’t happen to be walking underneath it when it fell.I used these because I have plaster walls and I’ve been having a hard time finding nails that would work in it, so I guess my search continues. To say I am disappointed in this product is an understatement.

Works great, follow instructions and you'll have no problems
Enough can't be said about the brand command strips. I've been using these for years and have quite a few around the house that I absolutely love. This one is being added right along with that. I love that this comes with 3 picture holders and both adhesion pads as well as velcro holders. I only needed one but quickly found uses for the other ones. Especially the velcro holders. I used in particular in the picture above one of the picture holders, 1 adhesion strip and 2 velcro pieces at the bottom. I put the adhesion strip on with the picture holder first on the wall by itself and allowed it to sit for the recommended hour I then added the velco pieces to the frame and stuck those alone with the frame all together. Have had no problems. I also used the extra velcro pieces for the back of my remotes to stick to the tv which is a fantasic way of keeping track of them and them being out of the way. Overall I am a huge fan of command and highly recommend this brand.

Better products out there
My wires on my professionally framed photos did not fit in the notch on these hangers. Waste of money. Better to get the Command large universal picture hangers- these work for wires or sawtooth backings and are very strong

Don't use on anything valuable
I feel compelled now to write a review on these. At first I thought they were wonderful. They allowed me to hang things on the wall without leaving holes and making a flush profile. Over time I have found that these strips just release from the wall without any warning. Usually no sagging or loosening that I could see. They just release. With the first photo frame I had to clean up glass and a slightly broken edge of the picture. I've had others thankfully fall onto couches or clothes and come out ok. Today I had a very valuable piece art from an international trip fall and shatter. There was no hook for it so I used the 3m strips on it. I'm done. I've just now taken down everything in my place that had 3m strips on them. I can't trust this product anymore. I've contacted 3m in the past and they said it shouldn't happen. Thanks. It doesn't replace something I can't replace. If you see this review on other 3m products, it is because I invested in those as well and suffered failures with those as well. The only thing that hasn't fallen yet is a plastic one with hooks.

Not a good option!
OK... I get the theory behind these and the suggested weight limit... I have some heavier frames, right around 6 pounds. To be safe I used two of these spaced perfectly to support the frame via the attached wire, waited 48 hours for them to set... within 12 hours of the frames being hung the hooks where already pulling loose. Went back to hanging via nail based hangers. These proved to be worthless and I tossed them as such.

I LOVE 3M PRODUCTS!!!!!
I have been using 3M products for a long time for various uses in order not to mess up walls, both in my home and at work. I love the new universal hanger. It is just what I need to hang anything in my new home office without damaging the paint. There are so many different 3M products made just for what you need. If it isn't working for you, it is probably because you installed it incorrectly or sometimes the product could be old in the package and the adhesive is not as good as it should be. I have only had an issue once where I used a package I had saved for over a year. The adhesive dried out, which is totally understandable. Overall, these things WORK and work well!

Work well if you’re careful with weight
Great for rented properties. However, I followed the instructions and used well under the stated weight limit and my picture fell off the wall later that evening. Luckily it didn’t break as it is in a glass frame. I tried adding another hook as support and it has now been up nicely for months. I would err on the side of caution with the weight limits.

So easy to use and no mess!
I haven't tried removing any yet, so this review is only about how they work going onto the wall.I have bought a lot of these strips recently as I moved into a rental property and didn't want to put screws or nails into the walls. They have been absolutely brilliant!I've put up all sorts of different sizes of photo frames and even a key-holder box and hooks for curtain tie-backs. All are holding up well and I am really impressed with how well the strips grip onto the hooks and the picture frames. Sadly, I managed to put a couple up a bit wonky but I'm living with it until I can get another pack of the large strips. These wire-backed picture hangers are great as well and I've got them holding up a light canvas picture and a heavy-framed watercolour. I'm wanting to put up a cork notice-board and as they usually have string on the back, I'll probably use these particular strips to do it.The packaging gives the weight that each hook will hold, so something heavier may need two hooks, or something else from the range, but it's easy enough to weigh pictures before you hang them if you have some kitchen scales.I have been recommending these to all my family, even if they don't rent, as they're so easy to use and there's no faff with drilling & putting in screws or hammering in nails. My only advice would be to make sure the pictures are level before you remove the backing tape!

Need some design modifications
I'd give these 5 stars for one small improvement - the nodules on which the pictures are designed to hang need to be longer and more robust. On several of my frames, the teeth-style hanging mechanism was slightly recessed from the frame meaning that once the frame was flush to the wall, it was not able to latch onto the hook. On my last attempt at hanging one such frame, the nodule on the hook simply sheered off.

Extremely Disappointed
The idea seems great. Save your walls and change your mind on positioning at any point. Upon actual implementation the adhesive pad sticks to the hook as if it was one solid piece, but the side of the adhesive pad that goes on the wall does not stick! I followed the instruction, applied the adhesive pad the right way up to the wall, then applied the hook and waited 2 hours instead of 1. Put the painting on- crash, straight down. So I thought I'd give it another go, put the pad and hook back on the wall and just lightly tapped it on the side - it just went down. The back on the pad is not adhesive at all, i can stick my finger on it, press firmly and it will come off as nothing happened. Extremely disappointed in these, had such high hopes for them and now money wasted, guess I'll go oldschool and just drill the holes.
