Premium quality, but useless to me
I needed a temperature adjusting hot glue gun and this one seemed like the one I need. However, It uses teperature modules to change the temp. First, in the owners manual it says changing the modules is very fragile and can easily break. 2nd, it does not come with any modules! The gun boasts best price for a temp controled glue gun, however you have to pay extra for the modules and order those modules from the company. Well, even that seems imposible as you can not order the modules from their website, and when I use their contact form to contact them. They write back in Spanish with a strange out of context response nothign to do with the modules. Anyways, this glue gun seems like a premium quality gun compared to and Arrow for example. However useless if you need a gun that adjusts temp.

There IS a check valve!
I received the AdTech HD 350 this week from Amazon. I have not yet used it but can tell from its construction that it is very well built. I will do a user/test review after I put it into use. I am writing this because I had asked a question regarding the presence of a check valve on this model and the AdTech 200. It indeed does have a check valve. Rather I should say the nozzle has a spring loaded check valve. AdTech has sent me two accessory nozzles and the spring loaded check valve is present in them. So I now have my answer and so do those who answered in the negative or just did not know. I hope this helps. I want to also add that my Stanley dual heat also has spring loaded check valves in the nozzles. Life is good!
