Pros:Works amazingly. Used to mount dashcam on dashboard. Has not come loose like every other 3m I've used.Cons:I found that once I placed it on the mount for my dashcam (without the dashcam mounted) and then stick to the dashboard it felt loose at first. Bbuuttttttt after 24 hours, slid solid as a rock. I'd attach it, place something heavy on it for a couple hours, and then attach whatever.

This has held up a heavy rack on a vinyl surface. The others just fell right off!

They have very good adhesive. I little hard to get off on one side. I have to use a knife to get it off. You can cut to the size you need.

This tape did not perform as stated for my outside front door. It does not even hold the weather strip for my inside door. I will keep trying to find a use for it. Maybe something that does not require being moved around. It is sticky, but not for what I purchased it.

I was looking for a reliable mount to use in a classroom project involving papers, and after reading all the amazing reviews, I decided to give this a try. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. It couldn’t even hold something as light as toilet paper together — I can't imagine it supporting anything with real weight as listed for 15lbs. I was honestly embarrassed to have trusted the hype. While I usually trust this brand, the product quality here was extremely poor.— I wouldn’t want it even if it were free.

Update 2: Wanted to also mention that I am now trying a different product from 3M, "Sticky Adhesive Pad Replacement for Car Dashboard Magnetic Phone Mount Base, pop-tech 8pcs 3M VHB Double Sided Sticker Heat Resistance Tape for Magnet Cellphone Holder & Windshield Dash Cam." You can get it here on Amazon, ASIN B08D3LYSLZ. According to their description, it is actually made for dash cams and the like. I attached it yesterday and I am hoping this one might last a little longer. To add, I was able to remove this product from Scotch completely from my windshield and the dash cam with some pulling, fingernail scraping, and using a couple of alcohol wipes.Update 1: It held for just under 3 months, then the dash cam fell off. The tape held to the windshield, but detached from the body of the camera holder. Will have to try something else.I have a BlackVue 650 and it worked great. I did have to cut it to fit, and the red tape side was kind of hard to remove, but it has worked well for me.You do need to make sure you have it positioned correctly before you attach it, because once it is on, it is ON and cannot be moved/adjusted.I did not see many reviews that mentioned how well this might work with mounting dash cams, so I thought I would share my experience. I did clean the glass well before applying it. What I am not too sure about is how difficult it will be to remove it when that day comes, but I guess I will cross that bridge when I get to it.I live in a warm climate area with a lot of hot sun, so I will see how long it lasts. I used these to hang my ring doorbell, and it is really stuck on there, and hasn’t budged in months so far. It is strong and very adhesive. It is outside taped to my door frame, and seems to be waterproof. I live in VA where it is very rainy in the spring and summer. It’s a thick and padded like tape, and it was very easy to use - I just stuck the tape on the back of the doorbell frame, pushed it hard a few times to ensure it stuck, and boom, it was installed. This tape saved me money because I did not have hire a handyman to install the doorbell frame or drill any holes in the side of my house. Great value.
