Oooh! Something cool for my Mora knife! Well, maybe. It works - slips over the hard plastic belt clip on the standard Mora sheath. It's a wide band of elastic material with a small elastic loop attached to it at the top - similar to my wife's hair ties with the rubber band inside a cloth sheath. The band goes on the belt clip and the smaller loop goes over the butt end of your sheathed knife. There's a small cloth tab on the loop to help you maneuver it. To set it up like the picture shows, you need to slide the band over the entire sheath starting from the bottom (blade point) end, or thread it through the entire clip with the keeper started upside down. You'll figure it out - oh, and there are no instructions, so you'll just have to use your intuition.Now, do you actually NEED this? I'm not so sure. I've never had a Mora knife come out of its sheath when I didn't intend it to. I guess this will be good for those who are super active while wearing your knife on your hip. Otherwise, it's just another gewgaw to make you stand out from the other Mora owners - cuz no one you know has one of these...except me!

I liked the idea, but the elastic and how they sew the ends together makes it too thick. Tough to get the holster on your belt or pocket with this installed. Returned.

I have always used a piece of shock cord to accomplish this purpose, but it sometimes falls off.This product fixes that problem by holding the elastic cord in place.Even though the Mora knife is held pretty secure in the sheath by friction, its nice to have that little bit of extra security and peace of mind that this provides.

Nice way to add some security to your Mora. Easily slips between the hook on the case and then bands over the handle of the knife. No more losing my mora to tree branches and twigs.

Obvious prior to delivery how to install. Top down past clip. Pull up inside clip. Total time, 3 seconds. I have removed and replaced it on 3 separate knives and it takes the same 3 seconds to install it as to remove it.4 stars is because it came up in my checkout as a recommended item, and was called a MoraBand. But it is in fact not a Morakniv product. Also, might interfere with fitment of clip when wearing a thick leather belt as can be seen in the listing photo where the device seems to be wrinkled and the clip is not seated.

I find it difficult to get the clip on my belt with this installed. The seam is in a bad location so it is really tight behind the clip. However this is great when I have my Mora in the webbing of my backpack. Just an extra level of security while it's bouncing around, but I take it off when wearing the knife on my hip. Worth the money for sure.
