Great Box, but….
The latch that holds the cover closed is really REALLY TIGHT! There is a slot for a screwdriver to pop it open but when you first get it out of the box the latch is so tight that you will damage the cover prying it open. I called Raco and Garrett explained to that the latch should be oiled a tiny bit and cycled by hand (uninstalled) many times to reduce the force needed to open the cover. If you turn the cover over and put your thumb(s) on the underside and press really hard you can pop it open. I have arthritis so I had to tap it with a screwdriver and hammer to get it open the first time. I then oiled it and was able to open and close it with my weak old hands. After about 20 cycles it was much easier to open and the prying method worked easily then. They’re really nice boxes and the covers are really well made and look great when installed.

Great Quality & Will Make Your Floor Outlets Work
When we moved into our new apartment we had this terrible, ugly, cheap floor box with tabs that you had to flip up to get access to the outlets. That means you have the tabs, the plugs and the cable NOT flush to the floor, easy to trip over and impossible to move furniture over. This takes a little more effort to install. I paid for a professional electrician to put it in. What is above the floor now is no higher than the height of the power strip as it lays on the floor. It is tucked away under our bookshelf, unseen, and providing power to my whole entertainment center. When we give our apartment back to the landlord, the clean and beautiful look of this brass, flush floor, recessed outlet box, there will be nothing for them to object to. Can you even find it in the picture?

OK
Better floor outlet. Would be better if cover was larger diameter and flatter.

Has alot of adjustment
Put this in the carpeted hardwood floor for a powered love seat. Pretty easy install after figuring out where the hole should go and not hit any floor joints/ etc. Take your time and plan it out. Drill a small hole in the center of the expected spot first to make sure everything will line up. I had no direct access underneath, so I had to fish the wire through. Appears to be well made and fits well. Face Plate is beefy too.

Sitting flush?
Works great, if yours isn’t sitting flush with the floor, widen your hole a bit, it could be pinching the brackets on either side which caused a clearance problem for me. Trimmed a little more on each side and boom fit perfect. When you screw or in it also will synch everything down. This is solid, looks great.

Very nice looking floor outlet
This was used to replace 30+ year old outlets on a stage. The outlet is usually used under a lectern, and a narrow dc power supply fits nicely for a light (though the cover won't close with it plugged in). The closing cover does work well and stays shut when standard cords are used. The main reason we went with this model was its use of a decora style outlet. As I mentioned, we were replacing an older outlet that was a standard outlet within 2 feet of a baptistry pool. It was very easy to change out the outlet that this cover came with to a GFCI outlet to make it safer for floor use. The only downside I had was because both the outlet box and the cover need to fit into the hole, there is almost no play on the measurements if you are off. The screws that hold the box to the floor come very close to the edge of the hole so it is important to cut the hole exactly as specified.

Well built except for the outlet itself
It looks good, and it’s definitely built like a tank. Cool. It’s also extraordinarily hard to open- you need some sort of pry bar or screwdriver to pop it. My unit installed nicely however the outlet itself was DOA. I replaced it with a Lutron unit from the hardware store and now it all works just fine. Especially given the price, I would not buy this fixture system again. It’s fine, and I’m sure it will work for forever now that it’s installed. It just took two trips to the hardware store and a replacement part to name it happen.
