I like the theives smell so I got this ointment and was a little sad it had so much camphor and menthol smell but I rubbed it on my sore hips anyway as an analgesic - wow! The cooling sensation was amazing and long lasting - all night and into the next morning. The usual theives oil smell came through gently offsetting that mothballs/vics smell and creating a very pleasant aroma that was soothing. I got decent pain relief. I think there is ancient witchcraft here that is worthy. Charming label would make it a delightful gift.Update: Bonus! Just discovered this ointment actually works on my mild toenail fungus, too. Been so happy to use daily at night for just 2 weeks and now all sensitivity is gone and the yellowing is fading. Could it be a secret cure? I have real hope!

Smells great, nice soft consistency--not too hard. Super fresh. Very effective on my joints. Very soothing smell. I will buy more to keep around the house!

Smells divine, please sell a bigger size tub!Admittedly I was not paying attention to how big (or should I say small) the tub was, so I was shocked when it arrived and appeared to have shrunken in transit. I would've thought twice about the price point had I realized it was such a small amount (under 1oz) but if I'm being honest, I'm glad I made this mistake. This stuff is the real deal. Aside from the fact that it smells AMAZING, it really works and I find that it lasts a long time. A little goes a long way, and when I run low I can see myself setting up a subscription. This easily is the happiest accident I've had. My only criticism is they won't let me pay even more money for a slightly bigger tub!

I like the smell

Wonderful for many things!

First time I used thieves' oil as a "rub on". And I like it. It has a strong scent, so it's not diluted.Plus, I really love the "ole" time label.Try this, I think you will like it.

The ounces/ size need to be listed! This is about a 1/2 oz jar for almost $18. I thought I was getting at least 3oz as the picture seemed to show. This is very deceptive. The ointment however smells good and seems to work well.

Unstuffs my nose quickly, great for arthritic fingers too.
