They met earlier and dated during the summer but she was a teacher and had moved to a new job out west. As luck would have it, he found her on a day off from school, she came and picked him up in her "robin's egg blue" convertible, and the rest was history. A tiny vial of Dad's ashes sit in the passenger seat of this model. I honored his wishes, sort of, to have some of his ashes put in an old car to be scrapped, since he was in the scrap business. Instead, a little bit of him is frozen in time and memory in this model. The quality of the product is worthy of the honor it is fulfilling. Worth getting if you want a high quality car of this classic make, model and color.

I was visiting my parents the other day and my dad started reminiscing about his high school days and his younger days after graduation. He mentioned this car he had (1958 Chevy Impala, baby blue, convertible) and his face lit up. He described every detail and told stories of this baby blue car. As he was talking, I was on Amazon looking for this beauty. Everything he described was captured perfectly in this replica.
