Good sturdy gate latch. All my previous ones had snaped off with postman and delivery bloke. This is well made and a hell of a lot better. Well pleased

Never got on with my neighbour, but the day I fitted the double sided bolt ,It changed everything . Was looking out the window and I spotted him having a go at the gate bolt. I raced out cup of tea in one hand . Said to him whats your game and he came out with " that's a good looking gate bolt you have there" . I was taken back literally. This was the first time my neighbour of 32 years has ever spoken to me . I finished my cup of tea as I only drink hot tea. I responded to say that I was looking for a slick double sided sliding bolt action gate bolt. Wow my neighbour was absolutely amazed at the easy of sliding mechanism. We chatted for hours talking about the metal construction. I even got a couple of chairs to carry on the conversation. It was getting late plus it get dark early too. We both said our goodbyes and proceeded to go our separate ways. I never spoke to him since or to this day don't even know his name. So would I recommend this bolt . Yes is my answer.

I go through gate catches at an alarming rate of knots. They seem so flimsy and are twice the price of this bolt.This is a very sturdy gate bolt that works very well, it is great value for money and will outlast the gate.

It is as described; it's a good sliding gate lock. I'm a happy customer.

bought and fitted for customer who wanted something robust . nice smooth movement and weatherproof, fitted months ago close to the beach and the salt air hasnt tarnished it at all

A good strong sturdy bolt for our Gates

Received with a hole in the box that had been taped over, no carriage bolts (as mentioned in the description) & the bolt hangs up & doesn't slide smoothly. It was loose in the box with no instructions & no wrapping (another reviewer posted a photo showing theirs wrapped in plastic with a barcode). Did I get someone else's return by mistake? Would be a good product if it weren't for the above. Very disappointing.
