They are quite durable and water resistant. The inside is really fuzzy, and good insulation I mainly use them as house slippers. Long lasting, I will replace them with the same ones

These are really good socks, especially if you struggle to keep your feet warm like I do. They work much better than regular socks in cold weather and make a noticeable difference. They’re soft, warm, and comfortable. When you first put your shoes on they pull a little bit, but after a couple of minutes the fit settles and they feel great. The material is very soft, which makes them comfortable, though they do loosen over time after a lot of use. I’m not sure there’s a way around that without losing how soft they are. For the price, especially if you buy the larger 6-pack, these are definitely worth it. I’ve tried a few different brands and this one has been the best quality for the cost. I’d recommend them if you need warm socks for the winter!

difficult to judge their solo insulative effectiveness because I use these in combo with insulated boots that are designed to be worn with thick socks and rated to -20f; and over regular socks to extend their wearability to multiple sessions. In this specific scenario they work great and don't restrict my blood circulation as long as I'm careful not to restrict my toes by pulling them on too tight when I first put them on. These ARE thick enough to prevent my feet from floating around in my boots. *** Post winter update: these served me well even in subzero temps***

didn't want to wear out pricey wool socks running around the house.These are not compression, or "arch support" or tight like that.They stay up on my ordinaryaverage ankles, but I tend to push them down a bit to look less nerdy(at home, LOL!). I live where winter can be 20 F. all day, and snowy. Got 'size 9-13' for women's size 7 foot bec tight isn't wanted.They're warm enough and you can easily double them up, for working at your desk. Acrylic breathes better than poly, nylon is tough and can be spun 'soft', which makes them overal warmer while resilient.My dog swiped one and really played with it, no damage found -- he brought it back inside bec he's a great pup, ya'll.Also the poly in garments will "pill". These were the highest in acrylic & attractive that I could find in less-than-a-day, while not thin-looking in others' pics, and while not fugly (to me...). They aren't terribly thin, as mid-range-to-inexpensive socks can be -- I know how to knit wool socks as thick or thin or high or low as I want, but sometimes ya just want a sock that you can risk with floors and dogs and running outside to the curb with the garbage can. I keep the second pair off the floor, as bed-socks.But if I am hiking in real winter/snow condxns (or the heat fails) I would use my all-wool hand-knits that I fit to my boots.
