Unfortunately, as everyone's feet are different, there is no guarantee of fit without trying on a pair of skates. Many things affect fit, such as the obvious one-length. Some people have wider feet, thick feet, high arches, etc. which along with personal preference determine the size needed for a comfortable fit. Generally speaking, people would go down about a full or half size from shoe size to skate size. For a child's 13 shoe, a size 12 skate may fit or possibly a size 13 skate would be necessary as we do not have half sizes in the little ones. The size 13 might require an extra insole if they fit somewhat big. Sometimes it is necessary to try more than one size to get the best fit. Great for learning all beginner foot work and some small jumps. They are comfy on my ankles and the backs of them and my feet don’t hurt (personally) after a session. I don’t remember them coming sharpened I believe you will have to get them sharpened. But yeah definitely kept my feet arm and they felt nice and snug around my ankle.
