Field of view is incredible and yet I dont have to worry about getting my teeth knocked out or my face sliced open. If I was an NHL player getting banged around I might worry about the cage getting bumped around, but for beer league with minimal contact it is more than enough protection from contact while also keeping my face and teeth completely safe. Played my first game without a chin cup, may try next game with one just to see what works. Without was fine, but mentally I was looking for the chin cup the entire game, and i worry a little about taking a hit and having the metal cage smash into my chin. Cons - was a little tricky to install, but only about 10% harder than just installing a visor on its own would be. Just a lot of loose screws and other parts to hold all together at once while getting it put on. I ended up using my wife as a 2nd set of hands. Not sure I could have done it all myself. It's also a bit pricey for what it is (a wire half cage) at $80, but it got me to the result I wanted and there aren't any better options out there. Visabilty was good and took no time to get use to . Sold protection for me in Rec roller league. Wish it came with better instructions or even online help. Not much on YouTube but i figured it out . Add a little blue thread lock to the screws to keep them from backing out. My existing visor doesnt fog.
