Favorite Early Reader Series
The Good Knight series is one of my - and my child's - favorite early reader series! We have a toddler, not a reader, and I love that the content and language is mild, yet silly and fun. Unlike other early readers we have read the characters do not tell each other to "shut up," call each other or things "stupid," etc., the content is not geared towards mostly boys or mostly girls, and the stories have a true plot. The dragons are very much like young children - making mistakes, having fun, learning how to care for others and fix their mistakes when they happen - and the Good Knight is their ever-patient companion and teacher. This is a great series...- to be read aloud together, or read independently- for boys and girls- for children ages 2-8 (Pre-K - 2nd grade)

Love all the Good Knight Books!
My mother and I discovered our first Good Knight book, Take Care Good Knight, at a garage sale. We must have looked hilarious, two adult women giggling as they read a children's book about 3 little dragons, who couldn't read, trying to take care of the wizard's cats. At the time my mom didn't have any grandchildren but decided to buy the book anyways. Fast forward 3 years and I now have a little one and my mom has her first grandchild. My mom discovered a second Good Knight book, Get Well Good Knight, and it was one of the first books on my son's shelf (she couldn't part with the first book and kept it to read when he comes to visit). Once I realized that there might be more Good Knight books I started searching Amazon, bought all of them, and they now happily reside on my son's bookshelf. If you or your little one loves dragons and knights, then these are the books for you. The illustrations are adorable and the Good Knight is very patient and gentle with his little dragon friends. The books are fun to read out loud and I hope one day my son will enjoy reading them himself.

Loved it
My son really likes this series of books. He is a very fluent reader but gets bored easily. I purchase these when he was in first grade and he loved them and read them through very eagarly. I will be looking for more white these characters in the future for sure!

Wonderful Book
Another great Good Knight book. Not our favorite, but all of the Good Knight books beat out the majority of the competition in our home. None of them use inappropriate language or name calling either. Very funny books and fun stories for kids to really enjoy reading.

Another good one
Like the other books in this series I found "Happy Birthday Good Knight" to be a fun and cute story to read with my children. Children enjoy a story that shows the classic enemies of knights and dragons working together and being friends and shows them that anyone can be friends with anyone they want.

Boring.
Dragons and knights seemed like good mix. But young kids find the repetition of cleaning up as uninteresting as actually cleaning up and the story itself is lame. A pity.
