Henaff French Imported Pork Pates 2 Packs (Rillettes Pork Pate Spread)

First had in Paris, France and although not as good as fresh from a street side cafe - was excellent. Got to eat with a very fresh Baguette and salted butter - makes a great sandwich.

Very weird taste. Worse than a cat food appearence and texture.

A very tasty and well made pate at $4 per can. The company offers 3 flavors -- all good, but the pate with mushrooms has the most enjoyable flavor. This pate in a can is convenient and has a very pleasant aroma and texture, especially at room temperature. We use it for charcuterie boards, as a handy snack, and as a spread on Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches. It puts a smile on our faces every time. Yum!

This is a lot better than any US pate I know of, like Armour meats. It tastes better, has a fraction of the salt and is very nutritionally rich. Portioned right, it's pretty good for you. No metallic flavor from the canning.

It tastes like liverwurst not like liver pâté.

This is the same pate my grandmother's friend brings when she visits from New Caledonia. Now we don't have to wait for someone to visit us to get some.

Acquired a taste for tinned proteins and this was a good one.

I order this 2 pack and I order the 3 pack without mushrooms. The 3 pack has a 3 year expiration date of 2026. This tasted and smelled fresh. The 2 pack pate' with mushrooms will expire in 4 months on 9/2023! I opened it and visually it looked gray, and has an off smell. I am so disappointed that they would sell such old stock food item. I called Amazon and they resolved this issue for me. Thank you Amazon!!!!
