I shined shoes and boots in a barbershop when I was eight years old. First thing I was taught was leather is like skin because it is. Dirt should be cleaned from the pores of the leather just like a persons skin before applying moisturizer. Excellent quality soap. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great product.

You immediately notice the difference and then end up rubbing over ever inch of boot. That's cause you want then to look at nice ass the area that was scuffed. The$1.72 price sticker was disheartening... Hell of a markup. I'll still keep the product but if I ever run out will be looking for where you can buy it cheaper as this is obviously over priced... Hey I'm a city girl at what did I know. I had to get help with opening the can. You twist the metal deal and it opens the can. 😂

I tried this on some distressed leather handbags that I bought secondhand. This got out the stains and really made the bags look like new again, however I don't know what the stains were since I bought these used. Even cleaned up some minor scratches. I would definitely follow up with some type of leather conditioner since this cleaner can strip out some of the natural oils in the leather. If you follow the directions and just use a rag or soft cloth, you won't get much lather from the soap, but it still works. I watched a few YouTube videos where the person used a soft bristled brush on leather shoes and that really seemed to work up a lather better than just a cloth. Very inexpensive way to clean your leather. Update: I bought some small horsehair brushes on Amazon, dipped in water, then in the saddle soap, and worked into a lather on the bags. Highly recommended and works like a charm.

I have a 40 year old luxury handbag that I purchased and it was in desperate need of a good cleaning. I was very nervous as I know cleaning can really dry out leather and with the age of the bag I was very careful. It had some water spots and dirt on the vachetta. I used a damp microfiber cloth to apply the saddle soap. Worked it in circles in a small are at a time being careful not to apply too much pressure l. Once done I gun up the bag upside down to dry and the conditioned. When I tell you this 40 year old bag look d AMAZING. I wish I would’ve taken before and after pics but I honest wasn’t expecting it to go so well. I will definitely be using this again in the future.

It works as advertised. I wear leather boat shoes and this does a great job of keeping them clean and conditioned.
