I was looking for a replacement overflow to fit the oval Blanco overflow pipe. This did the trick with a little bit of heat, the pipes fitted together.

I needed a horizontal 'draining board overflow' but was unsure whether dimensionally, this could be used with a new 90mm strainer waste. The strainer waste I purchased was with It's own black flexible overflow pipe, but vertical rectangular overflow. I cannibalised the assembly and found this purchased overflow set fitted perfectly Into the strainer waste.

We had noticed water in the kitchen cabinet below the sink and thought it must be coming round the stainless steel sink, but having sealed that & checked all the pipes it was still showing water. Finally I found the issue was a poor quality overflow from the drainer, took it off the seals were done & it was blocked with gunk (even though flushed each week). Could not buy a direct replacement so bought this, fits perfectly, seals & drains as it should, cabinet is now totally dry.

Did the job

Luckily I read the reviews before I fitted this item. One guy said screw was too long. I checked and yes if I'd of fitted it with that screw I'd of been in trouble. The screw for some reason is longer than the part you don't really notice it until you fit it. But I had the right size screw in my collection. Silly really you'd think the manufacturer would know this. But anyway problem avoided thanks to the review I read.

I really Don't understand why there are some bad reviews. I guess that's down to DIY'ers ineptitude. All parts are adjustable to fit. I did not even glue the ball socket joint, and so far no water leaks. This drains water from the draining board, the water is not under any pressure. If there are any issues then you are clearly doing it wrong or have ordered an incorrect part.
