This is a perfect box opener than cannot cut fingers. It has a small ceramic blade that is not sharp but still works great to open boxes. It has a blade cover but it’s not even necessary to use as the blade is not sharp. It’s small enough to keep one in the car, office, kitchen etc.

love the tool, does the job it is made to do! Very disappointed when I decided to purchase a couple more. The original price I paid in September 2020 was $3.29 each, now an inflated $8.00 a piece. Definitely worth 3.29, overpriced at 8. Not the right time or spirit to almost triple the cost.

I bought this product just to make up the $2 or so I needed to use up a gift card. I thought it would be something I would use at home to open up boxes anyway, so I don't have to cut my hand on a open scissors.It works my exposing a ceramic edge that you can then use to cut open tape, etc. It does not project very far, so it would not work to open up thicker bindings. It feels good in my hand.the only thing I have to remember that unlike a box cutter, I expose the cutting edge by retracting the protective plastic, instead of extending a cutting edge like on a box cutter. Every time I use it, I have to remind myself.

These things work great on those annoying plastic protective protective cases that so many products are encased in these days. They’re perfect floral opening boxes, zipping right through packaging tape or cardboard. They’re safe for kids too. You can run it over any body part any the point doesn’t break skin. It’s cheap, safe and does what it’s supposed to.

Fell apart after a few uses opening boxes and packages received in the mail. Loved that it was magnetic and was handy on the fridge, but low quality.

It’s great. I open packages with it. Food containers. It’s nothing compared to a box cutter. You can see that. That’s all.

This model looks very much like the Slice Safety Cutter but this thing does not cut newspaper or magazine paper stock well. It will slice & tear the paper.This model is for cutting things like shipping-tape which may require more pressure to cut-thru.Buy according to actual need/use.

Great. I use it to cut slits in the back of my stickers. It's quite sharp, it will cut through vinyl, but if you laminate your stickers and don't push too hard, this cuts the perfect slit.

Achei um pouco frágil. Consegui abrir as caixas, mas acho que talvez seria melhor eu ter comprado um maior.Dá pro gasto, como se diz.
