This rice cooker has been a great addition to the kitchen. It keeps things incredibly simple—add the rice and water, turn it on, and let it do its thing. The automatic switch to keep-warm is especially convenient when you aren’t ready to eat the second the rice finishes. I also really like that the cooking bowl comes out easily for cleanup, and the included steaming basket is a nice bonus for vegetables and other foods. The glass lid makes it easy to check on everything without having to open the cooker. There are definitely fancier rice cookers out there with a lot more settings, but if you just want something straightforward that makes good rice without having to babysit it, this is hard to complain about. It’s simple, compact, and does what it’s supposed to do.

If it were easier to read the measurements on the pot, it would be crazy perfect. I'm 71 years old, so i have to get a flashlight (torch for those in the UK) to shine on the interior of the pot to measure the water. But anyway, I used a Hibachi rice cooker for 50 years until it finally gave up the fight, and broke. I like the fact that this rice cooker is NOT digital, has a simple switch to "cook" and changes to "warm" when done. The rice is actually fluffier and better than my old rice cooker. Best of all, the pot really is non-stick, which was the worst part of our old faithful Hibachi. Yay for Black+Decker rice cooker.

Great value and works great! Never used one before first time using it worked perfect exactly what I wanted and I didn't have to buy $100 edition.

I purchased this rice cooker 3 weeks ago and have used it a handful of times with no issues. Easy to use and fast clean up. Although, you do have to remember to turn it off warming or it will burn your rice.

This little rice cooker is so amazing. Love making my oatmeal in it, plus clean up is fabulous.

It's says 6 cups of rice but you can only make 3 cups of rice. Idk where the manufacturer says 6 cups but it's alot smaller than expected but it works and cooks rice perfectly

This little wonder saves me so much time during meal prepping. It's also very simple to use. I follow the instructions and use the measuring cup provided, add the necessary level of water and in less then 20 minutes, I have perfectly cooked rice. I usually add a bit of olive oil and spices to my rice and it always turns out perfect. I use basmati (wash it first). Also very easy to wash. I use the sponge side to wash the inside by hand and avoid scratches. Highly recommended. I've had it on a deal ($30) a few months back.

Why would you sell an item in the UK that doesn't have a usable plug? I've even bought a specific Asia/US/AUS converter but it's a specific plug with one large prong than the other that doesn't even work with that. Why does the product say NOTHING about this in the description. What a waste of time. Can't even review it properly BECAUSE IT CAN'T BE USED

This little rice cooker not only cooks fast but also cooks well - the rice comes out so delicious!! We had a rather expensive Japan-made rice cooker that cost us more than $420 for some years. I bought that one because it was said to be able to cook delicious rice. And it did. I hesitated about whether we should buy the same brand again after we moved. But our new kitchen is kind of small, and we no longer eat a lot of rice. So I bought this really cheap one, not pinning much hope on the flavour. But what a pleasant surprise! It is so simple to use, takes only around 20 minutes, and the rice comes out almost as delicious!! I also like the steamer that I do use for steaming little things. Very convenient. Highly recommend it!
