It does the job !
Now we have two 5 month old kittens and we clean every 3 days (removing the solids) but we do keep the same litter for about two weeks and just add baking soda and more litter as we remove solids.So far we are very happy, it does let you know when it gets stuck and it’s easy to reboot , all in all it does help and makes life easier.

Bad in odor control
The litter box starts to smell bad after about four days. You have to remove the solid waste daily, which defeats the purpose of having an automatic litter box

Item I received was not working properly
I tried using this automatic litter box but the sensors were not working, I had to manually press the button to make the litter box move and clean after the cats. It cannot detect if a cat has used it. Maybe the one I got was just defective, but I was not happy for the amount I paid.
