Cheap, Good Quality, but Loud Noises
It is a good air fryer, it's a fair price, it's a good size for one or two adults, or an adults and a kid or two! The basket size is good. We put it in the dishwasher and it was fine. The actual bucket container thing that the basket goes into, we wouldn't put that into the dishwasher - Will add hot soapy water and give it a scrub whilst it's still hot etc and it's pretty easy. After 3 years this exact air fryer is still working but it's slightly warped so the basket and bucket thing don't slide in as easily as it did, so I'm buying a new Philips one! Usual wear and tear, it did a good job

Not safe
Not good and not safe, it always hang and now sometimes it opens automatically even if I didn’t put the tray inside, it’s so risky and when it does that it heats up and may cause a fire.

Good Product...
Really nice product, so far no issue.. i tried for cake bake, oil free ( less oil) fry for chicken, veg etc... I feel the analog model is good for using better than this digital control. delivery time also good.

Non stick coating lasted only a week
I tried to avoid using any scrubber, not even a sponge scrubber reading the reviews about the non stick coating coming off. It still came off in less than a month. Now it is a nightmare to clean. The air fryer itself works well but they need to upgrade the non stick coating ASAP.

We use this a lot to heat up meals and cook food for our toddler. Fish fingers etc. are perfect after just a few minutes. I do sausages in this regularly and they turn out perfect, juicy and full of flavour. Strangely, chips are the one thing I have yet to get to grips with. I tried homemade chips but they turned out undercooked with burnt edges - next time I'll use a lower temperature. Oven chips have turned out fine but you do need to use a lower temperature than it says on the pack and check them regularly as they will cook in less time. It's easy to clean too. We've put both removable parts (the basket and the drawer) in the dishwasher and they come out fine - they need to be left to drip dry afterwards though. Overall I'm happy, and this is definitely a kitchen gadget that we'll continue to use regularly.

These days when I buy just about anything I want ot easy to use, easy to clean and reliable. So far two boxes ticked. Build quality suggest teliable should not be an issue either. Simple set up. Temp and time plus more programmed settings. Chips a rare thing in our house due to cooking on stove having preheated oil. From frozen it takes 15 mins for crispy outer and fluffy inner chips and no oil! Doing baked jacket spuds, sausages and all sorts in less time than on the stove or oven, A 3.2kw oven vs 1.8kw air frier. It cooks better and cheaper to run. Cleaning a doddle, non stick basket and outer holder washed in sink using soap and water and a non stick pad took a couple of mins. Remember. No heating up time. It's instant heat. Our oven take 9 mins to heat to 190 degrees 9 mins energy wasted every time. Air frier zero warm up time. My daughter has one at uni persuaded is to give it a go. I'd reccomend this to anyone looking for healthier cooked food. Should save on our energy bills to given rising costs an investment imho. Also mo smell of fried food. Update. We've bought a bigger version as getting so much use. Best buy of 2022. Winner!

Previously, two Philips air fryers had been used; the first some years ago burned the outside of everything but left the centre still raw, while the other was better and also fully manual. This "Pro Breeze 4.2L Air Fryer 1400W with Digital Display, Timer and Fully Adjustable Temperature Control for Healthy Oil Free & Low Fat Cooking" offers a bright digital display, individual time and temperature settings and 7 preset programmes for foods such as fish, steaks, chips etc none of which options were offered by that previously used; the menu button steps through the recipe range. It also has auto pause and restart. It can feed 3-4 adults or a family of two adults and three children with ease. It has auto-stop capabilities when the drawer is removed for shaking or turning the contents, automatically restarting upon replacement. The range of temperatures is from 80-200C in 5-degree steps and times are up to 30 minutes. A preheat period of 3-5 minutes at the intended cooking temperature should be used in most instances. If you prefer your chips lightly- or deeply-coloured or your steaks very rare or well-done, the timing can be decreased or increased from the programmed norms by using the relevant pair of '+' and '-' buttons (labelled with a clock). For foods beyond its menu, manufacturers' or recipe guidelines for time and temperature can be manually set. A second set of buttons adjust temperature. Although square or rectangular pans may allow more effective use of their capacity, its pan is circular but quite large in area. Although described as an air fryer, it can also roast, grill and bake (including cakes in a suitable pan). It can also defrost. It does an excellent job with chips cooked from raw and baked potatoes (a slightly longer time due to their greater size) using almost no oil. Other menu options are yet to be used. There is a 'MAX' level mark about 1cm below the pan's rim although there is also a practical limit when layering larger items. Overlapping should be kept to a minimum as areas may not then be fully cooked; medium-sized pieces such as root vegetables, roast potatoes etc may be layered if not too tightly packed. Chips will need to be shaken half-way during the cycle to ensure even frying and break up any clumps that can form while larger items will generally need to be flipped to ensure even cooking and colour both sides. There were some concerns almost from Day One although others appear to find it excellent. Foods seemed progressively less-thoroughly cooked each time although timings were gradually increased. Just prior to its return, two portions of chips cooked for 23 minutes (originally needing 15 mins and then near-perfect) and shaken after 8 and again at 16 had over half still very white and unappealing while a few were clearly over-cooked. It was clear that yet longer cooking times were required. After less than six weeks use, the safety slide over the basket release button was found to be broken. The basket was not dropped, knocked or otherwise mishandled and the damage is unexplained. In looking for a replacement, it was noticed that many candidates use either the exact same basket or the same safety slide idea and may be made within the same factory. That has, for the moment, caused a delay in identifying its successor as this was returned. A support enquiry e-mail sent soon after purchase was then still awaiting a response and is another issue. Although a later email was received, the distributors did not address the machine's issues but suggested a series of photos to show the problem - TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE!

This is the second air fryer I’ve ever had, and this pro breeze one was far better than my last Tefal one! I liked the air fryers because they’re a much healthier way of eating my favourite foods (the chips come out great) and it cooks so much faster than my oven, I made chicken in 20 minutes! But the thing I didn’t like about most about my last one was the wire basket when I was trying to clean it after using, I had to soak it for ages and felt like I was damaging it when I was scrubbing. This one has a sturdy basket that makes it so easy to clean, this made a huge difference to me. This one also has preset modes for different types of food, and comes with a nice little recipe book with a couple in there and shows you how to use each setting which made it really user friendly, and the digital screen that was also easy to navigate and increase the temperature and timer. The fryer itself is very sleek and sits nicely in the corner of my kitchen, I like not having too much on show and cluttering up the place and this fits in very nicely as it’s not too big. I’ve had the fryer for 5 days and have made 3 meals out of it already, I work long hours so to be able to come home and eat within half an hour something healthy with little to no oil is a game changer. I would strongly recommend this air fryer, I love a gadget in the kitchen and this is probably my favourite I’ve had so far!

It was an amazing air fryer, I say 'was' because once the locking button broke, it all came falling apart- this was around 2-3 years later. Owning this for 2-3 years was a win in my books, for the price and all the cooked food- worth the price. Once the slide for the locking of the button broke however, I had to scrap the whole air fryer as if I had more than even 1/4 of the bag of chips, it would randomly disconnect the basket and the container sending grease and other crap all over the kitchen- this happened multiple times and I made sure I wasn't being stupid with it to no avail. Overall, I would recommend it besides the design flaw- would go 5 stars if they fix this!
