Another outstanding product from Pelican
I have had Pelican cases since the 90's and they still are used. This is max size for domestic flights. Two I use it for safe storage when hotel has no safe in room. I use two TSA locks and have had it on multiple trips now. My full size tripod fits inside.

It is very light
The first thing I noticed about this case was how light it is in terms of weight. It feels like it's half the weight of my 1650. Once you use the latches on this thing the first time you will wish all of your cases are like this. I have a 1650 and you have to really pull to open and really push to close. These are simple, quiet, and smooth. Just push in and that's it. It is so much better than my 1650 till I'm going to get another one of these to replace my 1650. I got the foam kit and it is very versatile and sturdy. You can trust your gear with it for years to come.
