It's a pretty big bag, but not quite big enough for a 12 year old boy to fit into.

Q: For those with the 65L and above, how much room do you have for suppies? How many days of supplies on average would you say it can hold?

With light clothing, easily 4-5 days. If you need more space, you can attach and Osprey Daylite to the exterior and add some more storage.
