I chose this helmet for the style. I was happy when I received it two days ahead of the estimated shipping time. The big thing is it will fit with my medieval costume. Important for anyone buying this: it is super oily right out of the box so clean off the oil quickly or just don’t set it on anything that can be messed up by oil.

Mix review here,,, its very thin and bendable and the liner was falling off taking it out of the box. Luckily, I can do repairs and my combat crew doesn't have strict requirements. SCA would not approve this for combat. If you just need something to cover your head, it'll do.

Solid helmet. Box arrived smashed, wings were a bit bent but that gives it some character. A little more paper or padding inside the box would have prevented the damage. I will keep anyway, still looks good. 5-stars, for helmet, 2-stars for shipping protection.

Wings are thin metal came with wings bent an flattened. Not worth the money.
