Review: Great bike rack, but a couple of snags for me - The rack is far more sturdy and better made than the photo suggests. Tubular frame feels very strong, straps are slightly springy making for a very snug fit to the car door. Easy to assemble in a couple of minutes and mounting is very straightforward however, two caveats: First, the tubular 'hooks' over the top of the tyre catch on the rear wiper on a Land Rover Defender. To get the perfect fit, you need to remove the wiper blade. Second, mounting a bike this way on a Defender partially obscures the number plate on the car. In order to leave it completely clear, you must remove the front wheel which rather defeats to object of a 'sling it on' rack. Dubai police may not like it...

The rack is far more sturdy and better made than the photo suggests. Tubular frame feels very strong, straps are slightly springy making for a very snug fit to the car door. Good product. Safe attachments and good quality / value for money. On 2020 Pajero you may have to protect paint behind wheel from scratching because it needs some manipulations to push it in far enough.
