this new hub adapter is awesome1st, its perfectly machined, extremely well built...better than any others ive seen.2nd, its lightweight and strong3rd, its slim design allows the larger quick release types to be used (im using both NRG 2.0 and 2.5)4th, it has the turn signal arm perfectly mathced up.some of the pix (rear)report my addition of a horn ring (for a street car), to clarify, my short hub didn't come with a horn ring *(nor do i see any on the manufactures site, leading me to believe they arent made with them), but i have one from an old sparco hub that i installed on the back side of this one.race cars don't need them, however to make your own (for a street car such as mine) simply fallow these stepsanything conductive (large washer, or cut the bottom of a coffee can, large beer can to make the ring will work1.get the horn ring sized using the pic i have included (the worn arc on the back)2.using electrical tape, cover the back side of the ring with a non-conductive strip.3.secure to the base (i used high temperature glue from a local hardware store).4. allow to dry, and run a wire from the ring to your horn button (ground or positive, depends on your car, for the 1989 bmw, its ground...1 wire)

This hub adapter is not suitable for a BMW E30 if you:1. Wish to retain the factory horn function - the hub is anodised an will not ground the horn properly without modification.[...]2. Install a horn button in the center bore of your aftermarket steering wheel. There is not enough spacing provided to hit the bottom there.Build quality is great and would be ideal for a race car, but not suitable for the street.
