Merrell Trail Chaser Running Shoe

The Merrell Trail Chaser shoes are perfect for our boys ages 6, 10 and 12. We buy them over and over. Not to give the impression that they don't hold up - on the contrary. They hold up great for our boys who are hard on their shoes - daily wear, life in the country - think cow pen, creek, rocks, puddles, dirt roads, etc. The traction is so good on these shoes. They have lot of fun colors to chose from. They wash up nicely in the washer and dryer. The style works for boys or girls depending on the color you choose. These are high quality shoes. Worth the price. My boys wear them through the winter, suggesting they are warm and stay dry. I don't know if they are waterproof but they work for us. I would highly recommend these shoes.

These shoes are AWESOME!! I buy these for my boys each time they grow out of their old shoe sizes. They hold up amazingly well for having two boys who play outside in the dirt every day. They are pretty rough on their shoes and these last me close to a year, or at least until they grow out of them it seems like. They work well with any of the socks they wear and are easy for them to put on since they don't have laces. The velcro closures always work well. They soles have great grip so they don't slide down the hilly areas. They always fit great as well. My boys say they are comfortable and breathable. I think they have pretty good arch supports as well because they never complain that their shoes are uncomfortable and they never get blisters. I have been buying these for the last 6 years and have always had good luck with them. Really great shoes!!

Best quality. My son can hold shoes for couple months, so far same shoes for have of the school year and still in good shape which hard to believe 😁

Purchases for a camping trip with my six-year-old boy. The fit is great and it’s easy for him to put this on. They look good and are comfortable, but we have had them for about a month and a half and probably wears them 2 to 3 times a week to school. Fairly early, I noticed it fraying along the liner (see photo). I would say it was the way he was wearing them except my daughter has the same shoes (diff color) and the same thing happened to hers. The shoes are still fine, but the torn fabric You makes them look very worn and broken.

Amazing quality. Sturdy, easy to put on, lightweight, and allows my toddler to have great traction on the trail. My only wish is that my kiddo wouldn’t grow out of them so fast! Will definitely be buying in the next size when she’s ready. She often asks for her “hiking shoes” since they are so comfy to wear even on short walks in the neighborhood.

Update! Changed from 3 Stars to 5 I got a replacement as the company considered this defective. I bought these shoes eight months ago, and my seven-year-old has only worn them for our trip to the park. Unfortunately, I've noticed they are beginning to show wear in an unusual spot. It seems that nothing is rubbing against that area, so I suspect the fabric may be too thin and is stretching more than it should when worn. The rest of the shoe is holding up great. I just wanted to share my observations!

El material del upper se ve duradero, el interior es de tela no creo que dure mucho, los colores combinan combinan muy bien con mezclilla o pantalones cargo, el mio como llego muy pequeño va de regreso.
