Great Affordable Hand blender.
So after a lot of research I ordered this hand blender to save my time. Itโs powerful and quick in doing itโs task. What I like about it: 1. Have a Chopper of an average size which is great for chopping meat or making koftas or kebebs. Grinds anything into very fine. 2. Different size of attachments for soups and purรฉe or smoothies. What I didnโt like : 1. Though the hand blender is powerful it takes time to purรฉe anything which is a bit thick and hence does not serve the purpose of saving time.

Bad engineering and food contamination
Water get inside the chopper cover and very hard to remove it, then the water get rusty and leak on the food with the next use which contaminate the food. I searched the internet and apparently this is a common issue with this model.

This blender replaced an ancient handheld blender that finally gave up the ghost about 2 months ago. The Kenwood blender is very sturdy and powerful and so versatile. During the last few weeks, I have used it for blending soups, marinades, making potato mash and sauces. The blender works effortlessly thought various textures and makes perfectly blended concoctions. There is a normal speed and power button that definitely differ in speed and the head is large enough to make blending a quick affair. The plastic cup that comes with the set is perfect for blending ingredients for marinates and sauces, even when dry as the blades are powerful enough to work their way through them. The parts are ease to assemble and take apart and super quick to clean under the tap or in a dishwasher.

This is a great blender set. Very powerful, and it has replaced both my old stick bklender and my jug blender. I'll run through the basic stick blender and various attachments here: Stick: For any general duties it is very effective. It makes short work of ice and fozen fruit when making a smoothie, and can pretty much handle anything you want to throw at it. The supplied jug is a good size, too. Soup attachment: This is also a triblade, but a little wider footprint, and plastic - presumably to protect non-stick pans. ou can sticck it straight into a pan ov whatever soup you are making and it will give you a smooth consistency Mini Chopper: Does an ok job, but you need to be a bit careful how you use it, otherwise the chopping can be a buit inconsistent. A few short (1-2 second) pulses, with some scraping in between, will yield a finely-chopped and mostly consistent jug of veg. If you go a little too long, the contents can very quickly become more of a puree. Fine if you want a puree though! Mashed Potato: This is a similar attachment to the soup one, but has a plastic blade and some holes in the base. In practice, I found this disappointing. Although it takes some effort out of the process (i usually use a ricer), I found that the end result was over-worked and the texture was just wrong. All-in-all an excellent tool. Warning: just be careful not to sbmerge the stick attachments when washing, as water will enter the shaft and it is very difficult to get dry again.

I have had a lot of blenders in my time but this is one of the best. Itโs just smacks of very high quality. It arrives well packed albeit with an unfortunate amount of plastic bags. First thing I did was to measure the actual wattage of it and of course it was significantly less than advertised. I measured it using a watt meter and no-load it's 25W. I have no idea how manufactures calculate wattage, but believe me if it was 800W it could cover the ceiling in soup and chopped up pan not to mention happily breaking your wrist in the process. When you consider that most DIY power drills can go through concrete with 500W, then you start to disbelieve the outrageous claims of blender manufacturers! Anyway, whatever it is, itโs seems the same as similarly powered blenders I have owned in the past. The blades are an unusual design in that they are all at different angles. I thought at first mine was damaged until I saw the blades on the secondary liquidiser are set at exactly the same weird angles. All of the tools work very well. Some have dedicated gear units to make them just right speed power for their intended application. I do have a few minor criticisms: The first is that the speed setting is very hard to adjust. It has no grip and is really tight. Second is the plug has no decent grip on it. Itโs difficult enough to get it out of the wall socket when your hands are dry, let alone when they are wet or covered with flour. It may prove necessary to swap it for one that does have grip. Oh and a third complaint, the cable could be longer. Itโs four feet long which is OK, but itโs would be a lot better if it was just a foot longer. One thing I noticed immediately when I was using the blender, is that even the small head is actually a lot larger than most other blenders I have used. So if you are dealing with small quantities you may prefer a blender with a smaller head. Also the stainless is lined on the inside with plastic which kinda makes you wonder why they bother with the stainless. The motor is very well balanced. There is far less vibration at high speeds than other blenders I have used. I have to say that I was stunned by the masher. It's fantastic. It's for anything that's soft, doesn't have seeds or skin. Unlike the normal blade it forces the food through a bunch of holes. It's really fast and surprisingly good. The main thing is that it doesn't clog up like a normal head can and it can mash a big pan in seconds, with perfect results. It's also entertaining as you see all the strange shapes coming out of the holes, lol. The masher should be one of the main selling points of the blender. In fact I would go so far to say that most of the time the masher head is what you should be using, and the bladed heads are just for food that actually need chopping up. All in all it's a good quality unit. It's not perfect, but it is very good. I am not sure I would recommend it though for people living on their own ( cooking small quantities ), or people who have difficulty with their hands ( hard to remove the plug and hard to rotate the speed setting ). Everyone else in the world, sure, why not, it's a good blender with some very handy tools.
