OspreyMen Duro 1.5 W Res Running Vest - Phoenix Red, Small/Medium

I bought the Osprey for longer distance training runs where it is handy to have a larger volume of water than I can carry in my handheld bottle. When the kit first arrived I had to send it back as the M/L was much too big for me. The return process went smoothly and I had a S/M replacement kit in less than a week or so.The first couple of runs were interesting as I found the bladder maintained a slightly unpleasant chemical tinge that didn't start to fade until after uses despite washing with soap and hot water. That being said, the pack fit well, is easy to adjust and does not bounce for me at all. After making some normal adjustments after the first few runs I think I had it dialed in fairly well.This week, I took the pack out on a tempo run and I was quite surprised, and more than a little disappointed, when I began feeling a wet sensation in the small of my back. I stopped running and removed the bladder to find that it was leaking at the very bottom of the bladder. It appears there there is a separation or some defect that was worsened after a few uses. While this was my first foray into Osprey products, it will also likely be my last.

I ordered this vest for my husband for his evening jogging / cycling sessions - he is absolutely in love with it!!! The vest is very well made, lightweight and it comes with a big (1.5l) hydration bladder with a straw. I ordered it in M/L size and it fits my husband perfectly (he wear M but he is very fit and quite muscular). I'm so happy with this purchase and highly recommend this item
