First off, my hair is sensitive to proteins so I have to make sure that my hair products don't have proteins because my hair will end up feeling like straw. Fortunately, I didn't have to worry about that with this shampoo. Now, I don't like the scent of the shampoo but fortunately it doesn't linger. I also don't feel it has a "rich" lather.
