3 Piece German Oktoberfest Dirndl Dress, Black and Red

Looked great for about 2 hours and then I looked down to see one of the silver fasteners up front came off. I got the size I needed and nothing fit too tight, so when I found my dress broken I was devastated. I also noticed that the white undershirt was unraveling in parts. Overalll wonderful look but not the quality of work I was hoping for.

Cute dirndl- make sure to order up a size or 2. I am 5’4” and 128bs. I ordered a size 4 and a size 6. The 4 was definitely too small but the 6 fit well. The material isn’t very soft but the dress worked perfectly for a day at Wurstfest.

I love this dress, just the only problem was zipper was broken. The fabric and stitchin on this dress was made great, the shirt is a little on the cheap side but not itchy or made wrong just the fabric was in a bit on the ruff side I give it a 4/5 on shirt. But other that the shirt and the zipper (I am working on returning and getting a new dress) I say go for it. The dress is beautifully made. Oh and go based on your chest size. I went on my waist size and didn't fit even with the zipper broken my chest was to big to fit. So I will be reordering in a size acoeding to my chest.

Authentic dirndls are very expensive, so this is still a good deal for something that looks authentic but is still a "knock-off" type outfit. Much better than anything you would find at a costume store and looks adorable on. It does run a bit small so you may want to size up one size. This is a 38 (8) and model normally wears a 6. Also, scratchy backing on the embroidery featured on the lower part of the skirt. Necklace not included but makes the outfit. Apron is very thin and bled on ironing board cover when ironed. We will keep it but wish the quality was a bit better. The blouse seems to be of good quality.

I bought this dress to wear as a costume for a musical I am in. I thought it was a little pricey when I bought it, and after having received it and compared it with another dress that was much cheaper I am certain that it was way overpriced. You can find something of the same quality for a much lower price. As for the dress itself, it fit as I expected it to, although I did order it a few sizes up as it said to in the description. The shirt that came with it was tight in the arms however, and not really flattering for someone with a large bust such as myself. Overall was the dress nice? Yes. Would I buy it again? Definitely not.

This is a lovely dirndl and has the appearance of authenticity. I ordered two sizes up from what I usually wear as recommended by the fit feedback, and it was larger than I needed. The corset in the front is not particularly sturdy, so lacing it up to reduce fabric bulk is a risky venture. If it weren't for the current price--over $100--I'd exchange it for one size down. EDIT: Looking back at the item info page I apparently ordered three sizes up... No wonder it didn't fit. I would still suggest you go ONE size up from your regular fit.

I wanted a dirndl that was semi-authentic without the authentic price tag. The material and construction of this one is perfect - no shiny polyester! I have a large chest and ordered based on that sizing alone and it fit perfectly albetit just slightly large in the waist and hips. I agree with other reviewers that the elastic on the sleeve might be on the tight side for some - another reason to order based on your chest size. Also, I recommend the dirndl petticoat for the full effect.

The white top does not look like the picture. I has elastic all around the top so you feel like you have to either put down on your shoulders or scooped around your neck. It's so cropped it didn't even cover my front. The dress and apron are cute and nicely made but unless you have stick arms there is no way you can get this top on. I did follow other advice and even went up two sizes. Darn my party is weekend and now I have dress like an American :(
