Review: 48 colours, loads of range… surprisingly good for the price - picked these up to get into sketching a bit more and they’ve been a solid set so far. good mix of colours, not just random shades you’ll never use, you actually get a decent range to work with. build quality is better than expected. pens feel light but not cheap, caps click on properly and haven’t dried out which is always the worry with markers. the brush tip is the standout. nice bit of flexibility without feeling floppy, makes blending and shading easier. fine tip is useful for outlines and smaller details. performance is really good for the price. colours go down smooth, blend reasonably well, and you don’t get loads of streaking if you layer properly. only downside is like most alcohol markers they will bleed through paper, so you need to use the right type or put something underneath. also a couple colours are quite similar, but that happens with most sets. for the price though, very good value for money. great starter or mid-level set that does more than you’d expect without costing loads.

I was slightly worried about some of them missing tips like a previous review, but mine were all there thankfully. Love the swatch cards it comes with & would definitely recommend doing it as some look different to the outside of the pens. I got the 120 pack, after doing research this is the best option at avoiding dublicates if you think you might expand your collection one day. Hope this helps ‧₊˚. P.S if you store the bag horizontally the ink flows better to both tip ends, rather than upright :)

I really love these. Previously used a different brand of alcohol brushmarkers (Windsor and newton) and these are definitely preferable. The dual tip is so useful for colouring different thicknesses and the pens blend nicely, there is some bleeding of colour but I'd say it's normal for alcoholic based markers! Selection of colours is fab in the 48 set and perfect for colouring pages!
