The stitching on this is a PoS. The canopy gets droopy without any support, which is to be expected. I was simply trying to get a snug fit to solve this with some hidden clips and Velcro, and the canopy ripped like a paper bag. The fabric is a decent blackout, but for $200, the stitching should hold better than a wet napkin. If you have a sewing machine, I suppose it would be salvageable, but for the rest of us, it’s going to end up in the trash, with a bad review, and a competitor to replace it. Also, white plastic clips are most useless, and I don’t like the contrast (white? seriously?). I wish they offered clips in different sizes (black should just be the baseline), since bed frames are not all going to be perfectly circular poles. Attempting this with knots is a fool’s errand that will end with scissors and tears, unless you have a Boy Scout or Martha Stewart to help. I gave up and used black zip ties (surprisingly ideal), but the canopy is a lost cause without a sewing machine. Thankfully, there is gorilla glue for fabric that dries clear. For $200, it shouldn’t have to be that janky, but it’s not like there are many alternatives, so, this is what you’ll be facing.

The fabric is so much thicker than I was expecting, which is fantastic. It blocks most light and actually kind of helps in the winter to keep the cold at bay and keep the heat in while sleeping. I find it is now easier to stay asleep and fall back asleep because of how dark our bed is now.The stars are shiny and nicely printed on the fabric, and it fit my king canopy bed perfectly.The one thing we changed was the support ropes and the hanging loops. I bought this for a canopy bed I already own, so the plastic loops didn't fit the top bars of my bed. I improvised with some heavy ribbon I had on hand and will try to find another solution where I can easily remove and wash them when needed.The support ropes did not fit my frame diagonally so we only used 2/3 ropes and formed a cross. It works for now but we will likely buy our own cording to make it better.All in all the items that didn't fit my frame were not a surprise. I knew I would have to improvise some aspects since it's for my own bed frame, but I am super pleased and happy with my purchase.

Can look very nice, the top was a tad big, it hangs down in the back, you just aren’t able to see it. Barely any light gets through, and if it does, the light is likely very close to the curtain. Overall I would buy these again for my canopy bed. I added the white layer in between

Ordered a California King-sized canopy frame (bed posts) and fabric. Posts were cheaply made, barely stood up and the fabric was not the right size. The directions to build the frame did not match the pieces that were given. This probably works better for a Queen or King bed, but not California King.

well, I think this is one of the best canopies on amazon. I love it. The staff worked with me some of the sizing was off and they fixed it and were very kind and took care of every need i had. i love how thick and high quality the cloth is, they did a amazing job. i would definitely recommend this to anyone. it is 98% light blocking not 100 but that is not really a big deal compared to the service and quality of this compared to the others i have tried. i had to send all the others back but this is definitely a keeper. The stars are a great touch and look amazing. IT has a very smooth and professional feel to the fabric. If you have any problems or questions just message them and they will take care of it. if i could give them more stars i would. Update: I’ve been using this for several days now & have found that the curtains are more sheer than I thought. One of the reasons I bought this was for privacy - in a dark room with a light on inside other people can see through the curtains, definitely not blackout curtains by any stretch. If you truly want blackout curtains either for light blocking or privacy then look elsewhere or consider adding another layer to these (that’s what I am going to do).Like most reviewers I had difficulty putting the top on the matching frame, but it's not *too* bad if you follow these tricks:1 - throw out the stupid, cheap, too short white strings that they include to “support” the top. White string to support a black top? Really?? Run down to Harbor Freight & pick up 50’ of black paracord for $3, it will be long enough to do the multiple passes you will need to properly support the top.2 - the frame includes short pieces for the width that aren’t even mentioned in the instructions (see picture). If you use all of these short pieces when assembling the frame then 1) the top won’t fit and you will tear the fabric if you try, and 2) the curtains wont be long enough to fully surround the bed. Leave one of these rods off one end, thats all it takes. There is still enough tension to hold it together (you’ll see) and you won’t tear the top.3) get some magnetic curtain clips, they are like push pins with magnets (search Curtain Magnets on Amazon) - you WILL thank me as they keep the curtains together but are easy to separate.Yes, you can see some light through these, they are not true “blackout” curtains, but they do effectively reduce the light to a very low level. The fabric isn’t thin or fragile or cheap as other reviewers suggest, the problem is that the frame is too wide for the fabric & people are trying ao hard to stretch that fabric over the frame that they are tearing it. Leave 1 short piece out of the frame & it solves the whole problem. I do wish the curtains were longer they completely surround the bed, I “guess” if you had hardly any overlap whatsoever between the closed curtains they might - BARELY - completely surround the bed, but not really.Overall I would recommend this frame/curtain setup, and I would buy it again, but there is definitely room for improvement.
