Bought this as an adult who wants to learn the basics!I wish this was a bit longer, but this is a great little book, especially for kids. There's a variety of activities to fill in and work on over the pages, and lots of bright colours and nice little illustrations. It covers a broad range of topics, though of course nothing in depth and no grammar, just basic words and phrases.The biggest plus point for me is that it provides a rough way to pronounce each word in sounds that an average English speaker will probably get correctly, or close enough, without having to learn any of the in depth pronunciation rules to begin with-ie "latha" has the guide (laa-uh).
