Was enjoyable to read but I wouldn't say eye opening.

Okay, the book itself is great.The version I ordered is garbage. The text is massive, it's typeset wrong, and a lot of the words have no spaces between.

I love this book, is simple to understand, its not so long and interesting. I love to have it on my personal library.

It very clearly and briefly reveals the workings underneath a State apparatus and asks a reader to think upon concepts of Social Power of humans over nature and State Power of Humans over other Humans. This was worth exploring deeper into Psychological realms of using Power or Force for Self Expansion and survival and it's consequences and molding of one's Psychological make up. Is there a way where even nature is not hurt by Humans ? Because even Social Power of using Nature, though natural, contains few seeds of Force. I am delving deeper into Question of when use of Force is Correct and when it is not.

LIbro corto y al pie sobre las implicancias de que el Estado intervenga en la economia y vida de las personas. Rothbard fue un gran pensador. Recomiendo mucho leer "El hombre, la economia y el estado" tambien. El anarcocapitalismo es el sistema mas justo hasta ahora encontrado a mi forma de ver. Lee este libro, sera rapido y si no leiste sobre liberalismo antes, te puede abrir los ojos.

Foi através deste livro que eu iniciei meus estudos em filosofia libertária. Originalmente eu li a tradução do Instituto Mises Brasil, que é bem criticável, mas até que dá pra passar com boa vontade. Em seguida eu li o original em eBook. Comprei esta edição impressa por razões afetivas com o livro. Quando me pedem indicação de um livro de introdução à filosofia libertária, eu tenho uma lista de meia dúzia, e este é um deles, depende do leitor em questão. Este livro aqui é um manifesto e é bem curto, então não espere ver uma argumentação desenvolvida nos detalhes com ampla exemplificação. O tom é de manifesto mesmo. Ainda assim, a escrita de Rothbard é ótima, e os argumentos são contundentes o suficiente para te deixar com fome de ler mais sobre libertarianismo. Para apreciar Rothbard em toda a sua glória e esplendor, recomento Ethics of Liberty, What Has Government Done to Our Money, Education: free and compulsory, e Man, Economy & State.
