IT MAY WORK OK FOR YOU
Tried everything to get the monitor to transfer the date to the app on a iphone13. Call Homedics customer service spent 15 to 20 minutes on the phone with them, they were no help at all. Told me to return it to amazon. I didn't care for their customer service in resolving this issue.
J**T
Device works, but not smart without a working app.
The readings and usability of the device are pretty decent. My wife has 2 other oximeters and this one has similar results in less time and seems to take readings faster than the others. The numbers rotate depending on the orientation that you're holding the device. It does take a few seconds for it to wake up when you put your finger in, but it seems to stay running as long as you leave your finger inside. The one major issue is that the Homedics plus app crashes on my galaxy s-10 where it's unusable. I can't even get to the point of adding a device to the app to record the data, only add data manually which is too much work. The app also has an "optional" button to add google fit but when you click on that google blocks it because it's accessing sensitive data. If they fixed the app I'd give it 5 stars, but in it's current state and the fact that it's advertised as a "smart" oximeter I'm docking 2 stars.
