Approachable, non-pretentious but wholesome food
I'm not a "young person" but I love the author's previous book so picked up a copy. All the recipes are really non-intimidating but look so tempting and nourishing at the same time. A practical cookbook for vegans of any age who are looking for some easy and approachable cooking inspiration.

Great cook book for teens
This is a great cookery book designed especially for young people who have made the decision either to go vegan or to include more plant-based food in their diet.As well as many delicious recipes the book begins with an informative and important guide to a vegan diet.It lays out the benefits of plant-based eating but also explains the importance of ensuring all dietary needs are met once animal products have been removed.

This book has nothing to do with veganism.
It's incredibly irresponsible for this author to use the label vegan in the title of this book when it's actually just a book about plant-based eating. Theres no wat to be a "bit more vegan" since veganism isn't a diet. Veganism is an ethical stance and social justice movement in which you "avoid all forms of animal exploitation as far as is possible and practicable". And the author should know this before misusing the label vegan in order to advertise their book. By equating veganism with a plant-based diet this author harming the social justice movement which is vegan. Very disappointing to see.

Really beautiful book and accessible recipes
An amazing second book from Niki - with a really informative intro section all about plant-based basics and swaps to get younger (and older) people up to scratch with a few staples. The recipes are inspiring and beautiful but accessible with everyday ingredients. It covers everything from toast toppers and sweet weekend pancakes to fun pasta lunchboxes, wholesome curries and family classics like shepherds pie as well as tasty snacks and chocolate cake! A really great book - not just for young people!

Disappointed
I had high hopes for this book because I absolutely LOVE the authors previous book. It’s one of my most used! But I was pretty disappointed in this book. I realize the recipes are for new vegans but they are just so simple & lacking all the things that I love about the authors 1st book & blog. Honestly I wouldn’t guess this book was written by her. I will sadly be returning this book.

Too simple/ Demasiado simple
(ENG) Quite disappointed with this cookbook. I thought it was about easy vegan recipes but not so simple! In this book it feels like the author is using the same ingredients over and over again. There are hundreds of books about easy vegan recipes for newbies that are far better than this one.(ESP) Bastante decepcionada con este libro.
