Gourmet Galapagos Coffee - Arabica - Coffee - Deluxe (Roasted Coffee Beans)

Expected roasted Coffee beans, but received ground coffee.Was fine, just not what I thought I ordered.

Beans too dried out,flavor less full bodied and more bitter. Coffee I had the Galapados was much better and cheaper.

While in the Galapagos recently, we stayed at an eco-resort on Santa Cruz island near the farm where this coffee is grown and produced. It was impressive to see that most of the cultivation and processing (including drying the beans in the hot Ecuadorian sun) was done by hand. They have a way of splitting the inner coffee bean from the shell that results in a higher caffeine content without making it bitter. They also make sugar cane liquor and chocolate - if you're in the neighborhood.

The coffee is great, the price is rather high, for what we received. The packaging is deceptive, the amount of beans shipped is about a 1/4 of the bag.

If you enjoy a slight taste of burnt beans first thing in the morning....purchase away. But I would not recommend.

I normally dont write reviews but I have to say these folks are great.Excellent quality and customer support.I had a issue with a open bag and they resolved my issue quickly.Im impressed.

This good coffee. Natural organic smell clean and the taste and its smell transports you to nature. leaving peace within you.
