It's eye catching! That's about it. The plastic quality feels cheap and dodgy. It's just about holding my smartphone (with a protective cover), just barely.There are cheaper products on Amazon worth a quarter of the price, which are EASIER and better to use.Please DO NOT be misled by product photos. It doesn't stand alone steadily and can fall due to the weight of the smartphone. It bare works in the portrait mode orientation (vertical) and certainly does not deliver in the landscape orientation (horizontal).Coming to the tripod mount aspects. It works with a decent lean/tilt or angles. If you try and position it with a low angle (think acute or 45° angle), the hinge begins to lower it. At angles over 45° it does well.I've tried it with two small tripods which I have and am sure it'll work with my DSLR tripod if I need to use it.I had purchased it hoping it would be a back up mobile holder capable of being paired with a tripod. But it's just not good enough for being used by itself for simple table top work.A feedback for the product would be to increase it's dimensional widths slightly and thoroughly test it for steadiness at low angles. The clamps should be wider, as several smartphone users do use a protective cover or casing. Product gets a MASSIVE THUMBS DOWN and actually deserves 1.5 stars. 1 star for the neat and simple packaging and half-a-star for it's bling value.I will be field testing it as an option to be a part of my Clownfish/Bange crossbody EDC bag.Closing remarks - It's just about okay. Definitely not worth it's price.

Product is good but not fabulous has trouble holding an iPhone XS Max

Bought this for unusual application: with a standard screw into PVC pipe to hold the phone above a board game to permit long distance play. Needed a phone holder with a screw mount (preferably a standard so as to use this in other applications) and with lots of flexibility on angle adjustment. Works great.

great phone holder, tripod adapter. Made of plastic which is it's the biggest setback. Durability could become an issue over time but has served me well for a month of use primarily as a stand for my phone on flights or at my desk. I wish it was at least partially made of aluminum or some alloy instead of plastic. The orange sliding part is probably where it will fail after a lot of use.

Purchased over a month ago and we loved it. We’ve been using it daily, literally daily, so my in-laws can video chat with our 5 month old. Has two female screws to receive a tripod. It’s EXTREMELY PRACTICAL! This is a must have if you’re looking for a tripod phone mount. Sadly one day it broke as my wife was prepping the device and it was 2 days past the return window. I emailed the seller to see if something could be done to fulfill an exchange since we loved it the first time. They just asked to provide pics of the broken one and order number and they sent the replacement the same day. Hands down an amazing experience, buy without any regrets.

This item is functional, more or less, but it's more like a cheap toy as opposed to something you'd want to trust to hold your phone. No quality pieces to maintain position; I imagine they will wear and lose stability very quickly. It's a loose and cheap feeling item. Something you'd expect to have paid $3-4 for.

I order 6 different poles in order to choose a set for an upcoming trek to Machu Picchu. I don't want to carry a separate selfie stick, so I looked for poles with a camera screw on top.
