DOUBLE 2 C Barn Door Lock, Sliding Door Lock Hardware, Carbon Steel Door Latches for Cabinet, Closet, Window Door, Black

I got these to put on my closet bifold doors and they work great. I need these to keep my cat from opening the door and climbing in to sleep. Easy to install. Easy to use and keep the doors closed, but quick to unlock to open the closet door.

Study and aesthetically pleasing. They work perfectly in keeping cafe doors shut when pets are trying to push them open.

Nice product and easy to install. I put this on my gate. My gate was not flush across so I had to adjust some things to get it to lift up.

Simple to screw into any wooden door or gate. I placed mine on a side gate and it does the trick to secure the door from moving. Of course, any lock can be broken with enough pressure. This one will at least detour the undetermined trespasser with appropriate force from entering your property until it is broken.

Great door. With modification due to one smart and persistent Siamese. 😊 We use this door to keep 3 cats out of the kitchen area. The Flame Point Siamese was able to pull many times and unlatch the lock / open the doors. The 2x plastic latches, with lock, were a little too loose. Changed to a metal Barn Door Sliding lock. Used zip ties to attach the Barn Door latch. Have to tighten vertical poles once in a while.

I bought this DOUBLE 2 C Barn Door Lock (2‑pack) hoping it would secure my home’s double barn doors, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t work for that setup. The latch doesn’t hold the doors tightly enough, and they still open far too easily. The hardware itself feels sturdy, but the design isn’t effective for double doors where you need a firm, reliable lock. It might work fine for a single lightweight door or cabinet, but it’s not a good solution for securing double interior doors.

It all started when I realized my doodle was too smart for me. I have a loveable but food obsessed aussiedoodle. Mixed with standard poodle, he had taken to hunting the kitchen counters so everything now goes in my pantry which is hidden behind double bifold doors. At first, I thought I was being forgetful and not closing the doors, Cash kept getting in the pantry every few weeks and eating Costco size bags of treats at a time. After being 100% sure the doors were closed good i put a camera on them while I was out only to find that my dog knew how to bump the hinged middle section until the door would open enough for him to nose it the rest of the way. I raised the treats up higher, he climbed. These barn door locks have been the answer so far. I have them up high, and so far they are working. They look nice and easily installed. I am overall happy with the ease of use, install, and the price was certainly right. Cash says he doesn't recommend and to send treats. 😂

Working great and for the price, just what my window shutters needed

I mean it works and all however there is an issue where the catch when used scratches the latch every time it comes down or is unlocked which leaves these unsightly scratch marks on it over time. Maybe mine was a defective one, perhaps if you get one it might pay to check if the catch has sharp corners and file them down before using.
