Great Potato Fork
This fork is well made, solid, and will last for many, many years. It is great for digging up potatoes and sweet potatoes.

Meh...
It'll be OK for tossing compost, or for light work. For anything requiring any strength in the tines, this one won't make the grade.Mine bent up just turning a bit of sod, nothing too deep or tough, either. I'd straighten the tines out, go in again and have to keep setting them straight. What happened to decent and cheap digging forks?Unreal.

LOVE THIS ITEM
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I have order several Spear & Jackson products and had to pay exorbitant shipping because they come from the UK. I just wish I could find something as good in the USA>

Poor quality, twice
I bought this thinking that it would be of good quality, the name plus the 10 year guarantee suggested this to me. When it arrived the tynes were bent, and one of them was mishapen. Amazon arranged a replacement, which was better, but still with bent tynes and one was longer than the others. Not what I'd anticipated for the price. Was I just unlucky to get two faulty ones? I don't know, no explanation was forthcomming.

Not a potato fork
This is not a potato fork. The tyne’s are the same width as the Spear and Jackson’s digging fork. They are more pointed than the S&P digging fork so you will still pierce your potatoes when lifting. The only difference is that the handle is about 5cm longer. Yes it is a strong, robust fork but not what you want for digging potatoes.

Beware of using this Potato fork on heavy soil
The price was good, and what my son wanted. However, the first time he used it on clay soil it broke in two. Snapped just above the metal part, and absolutely no use. His old fork, on the same soil, has been going for years, but looked a bit worse for wear with some bent tines. Hence the replacement. I thought Spear & Jackson to be a good make, but not so sure now. However, Amazon have been good about getting a refund, although quite hard to find the appropriate section.

Used once and already bent
As you can see from the picture I have only used this once to dig up a flowerbed and it is already bent despite having Neverbend in the name of the product! Very disappointing

Worm Bait Digging fork
As a mid range price bait digging fork for either clean or mixed ground it's as it says very good. Not the lightest in weight, but it's sturdy and stronger than most to compensate for that litttle extra weight. The flat tinned pronged head can be adapted to a mental shaft later on if required, for a lifetime bait fork.
