Mainstay.. Metal Arm Futon with 6" Mattress, (1, Black)

It took about two hours to assemble just because the screws were a bit difficult, but the instructions weren't too hard to understand and it feels really secure. The cushions are thick enough that you don't feel the bars and nothing is loose. FedEx had a hard time delivering it and I ended up having to redirect the delivery to a local store - plus, they did not treat it well. Because of a crushed portion of the box, the bottom of the legs were dented in, but we were able to fix it with some effort. Definitely don't plan to have it delivered up a set of stairs - the box is HUGE. After a week and a half, the brackets that change the position of the back broke/don't hold it up. It's weirdly at a 160° angle so I just recline really far back.

Ok was pretty excited to get this at first. when I got it the box was completely busted up. I started to build it to find out missing half the bolts. The mattress is missing the part you use to keep it on. I went to sit on it after fixing the problems only for the whole "wireframe" to break off at the welds. You can't lay on it without a counter weight because it WILL dump you. Then when my nephew got on it the main frame broke. I am 20 years old and 229 pounds. My nephew is 3 and while I don't know how exact weight he's less than my 110 pound cat. I have a back problem and I will admit the mattress is helping with it. But it gets shredded easily.

Everything was fantastic in the box when it arrived and especially the tools. The instructions were a bit confusing but the hardest part was putting it together because the screws had to be all hammered into the metal holes because they did not fit in the holes, and hammering into to metal was very difficult. But all in all I give this product 9! And even though it took me hours to put it together l would like to buy another one. I love the 6inch cushions that came with this order but l think l would soon like to purchase more cushion because l am using this futon for a bed.

Two of us put it together. All parts and hardware were accounted for. Tools were included which was cool, except a philips head. We followed the directions step by step. Some of the steps were confusing simply because it didn't specify the top slats from bottom slats. We figured that would have made things easier because, there is one step in there that has you put one set of different screws in one of those slats, not specified. So of course we just winged it. Other than that, it went together smoothly. The mattress, it is not a thick heavy mattress like your average futon. But honestly, this mattress is great! It's light, foamy, & it's super comfy. I would definitely recommend this product! And the price is amazing!!!

Unfortunately I was short about 4 bolts so had to get some from the store. The installation was king of tricky. It took about 1.5 hours and the mattress was not easy to get into the cover. I have it in my office as an extra place for guests to sleep. It's not very comfortable so I have a pillow top mattress cover I added for when I have people over. It is easy to switch from a bed to a sofa and I like that there are 2 reclining settings

Easy to assemble - sturdy - mattress is extremely comfortable - perfect for small spaces

Feels a little flimsy but I don't know kinda strong. Not sure I tend to sleep with chubby chicks so we'll find out when my ex says hello on the low

Ok where do I begin with this purchase. First of all, the assembly was ridiculous. There were missing screws and on top of that it was not even welded correctly because screws they were supposed to go in didn’t because of the holes not being aligned properly at times and due the holes literally being too small for the screws (and yes I followed instructions). On top of that the peer indicates it comes with futon frame and mattress. Ok I’m not sure how you call 4 large pads that you have to put in a zipper bag a mattress but this was very misleading. On top of all of that the bed didn’t even lay down into the bed portion which is the whole purpose of a futon. I’m just incredibly unhappy with this purchase overall.
