Seems to Do the Trick
I'm using this bulb to sanitize a pet drinking fountain. The fountain sits in an area with little sunlight, so it tends to grow a scummy red mold in a couple of days. Even when I change the water twice a week, I was seeing that mold. I put this bulb in a gooseneck table lamp and shine it for about 4 hours a day over the fountain. (In the afternoon when the kitties are mostly sleeping.) I have not noticed any mold since. (I still clean the fountain twice a week, so I can't say whether the mold would eventually grow despite the light.) In short, this bulb seems to do its job well! Thank you!

Eliminated Mold!
I had mold in the crease of my shower that would not respond to anything made to remove mold, bleach concoctions etc.I took a chance with purchase.I set up a lamp in my bathroom and ran the blue light overnight.Omgoodness, it was 90% gone the next day. Doing it again tonight! I immediately purchased one for my friend as a belated Christmas gift.

Bought 2 bulbs both are no longer Blue but violet like a 90's blacklight
Im not certain a real acurate way to rate the germicidal properties but based on quality of breathing before vs after they seem to work.My real critique is the change in color from blue to violet i have switched placemnet bought 2 seperate lamps have swapped the bulbs between them but the color still appears to have shifted.I would have bought more but they are now $30 vs 20

Worked for a month or so then only white light
Worked as described, as it pertains to the colors of light (I can't confirm or disconfirm the sterilization/sanitation properties), but then just stopped.
